Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Visits Singapore: Day Two. (VIDEOS)

beatrix_fonds_800x540Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands along with Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands continued their state visit to Singapore on January 25, 2013.

According to a press release, today the royal family visited the:

“…Singapore-Delft Water Alliance (SDWA) and NUSDeltares.  The Queen and the prince and princess gained insights and updates on the latest water research collaborations between scientists from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and their Dutch partners.

Furthermore, on the occasion of the visit of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Their Royal Highnesses, NUS renamed its water research facility, which houses the ASC, the ‘Van Kleef Centre’ in honor of Mr Karel Willem Benjamin van Kleef.”

The royal family also visited the Nanyang Technological University, attended a meeting with a Dutch community living in Singapore, and much more.

Their Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun of Bhutan Visit India: Day Two.

bhutanTheir Majesties King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun of Bhutan continued their seven-day visit to Bhutan on January 25, 2013.

On today’s agenda for the reigning couple: A visit to the Gandhi memorial in Rajhat where they placed a wreath his tomb, a meeting as well as a reception with the President of India along with the Prime Minister of India, and much more.

Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan Attends the 43rd World Economic Forum. (VIDEO)

HerMajestyQueenRaniaOn the evening of January 24, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan participated in a panel discussion entitled, The Global Development Outlook, during the 43rd World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Joining Her Majesty during yesterday’s panel were the British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron, philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder, Mr. Bill Gates,  and the Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-moon to name a few.

News Regarding TRHs Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias. (VIDEO)

asturias Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias visited Felechosa in Asturias to attend the inauguration of the retirement home, Complejo Residencial de Mayores La Minería, on January 24, 2013.  During their visit the royal couple toured the facility, met with staff as well as the residents.

Later in the afternoon, the prince and princess were in Oviedo where they attended a luncheon commemorating the 125th anniversary of the Oftalmológico Fernández-Vega.
