His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales watched and cheered on those who participated in the 2013 London Marathon. After the race the prince “…presented medals to the winners…” and “…chatted with volunteers along the Mall…”
This year roughly 36,000 runners participated in the grueling 26.2 mile race. In the men’s division, Mr. Tsegaye Kebede of Ethiopia won with a time of 2:06:04. In the women’s division, Ms. Priscah Jeptoo of Kenya won with a time of 2:20:15.
His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium was at the Église Saint-Donat in the port city of Zeebrugge this morning to “…commemorate St. George’s Day on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Raid on Zeebrugge…” according to the Belgian royal court.
