On the morning of June 13, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the port of Southampton to participate in the christening of Princess Cruises new ship, Royal Princess.
According to the official website for Princess Cruises:
“The 3,600-passenger Royal Princess is a new-generation ship. Among the special features found on board will be a greatly expanded atrium, the social hub of the ship; an over-water SeaWalk, a top-deck glass-bottomed walkway extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship; plush private poolside cabanas that appear to be floating on water; the new Princess Live! television studio; the largest pastry shop at sea; a special Chef’s Table Lumiere, a private dining experience that surrounds diners in a curtain of light; and balconies on all outside staterooms.”
On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Auditorio Mutua Madrileña in Madrid to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Fundación Mutua Madrileña.
After a visit to the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas and the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid this morning His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias visited the Centro Principal de Control (CPC) in Majadahonda.
During their visit the crown prince and the prince examined the “…sophisticated and complex system of monitorization of all the CPC’s installations…” according to the Spanish royal court. If you are confused as to what the heck the CPC is, well, it’s essentially a water distribution and treatment facility.
In the evening, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito arrived at the Palacio Real de Madrid to attend a gala dinner hostedby Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias.
On June 12, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway accompanied by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended a performance this afternoon to celebrate the life of author, Ms. Camilla Collett. Afterward, Her Majesty and the crown princess arrived at the Slottsparken where Her Majesty placed flowers at the statue of Camilla Collett.

By the way, if you are wondering why there is a photo of a sleeping dog in the last link, well, the crown prince couple’s cute dog, Milly Kakao, is pregnant. I have absolutely no idea why the editors of the newspaper decided to add a photo of a pregnant Milly Kakao in their article about Ms. Camilla Collett.
On the morning of June 12, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium arrived at the Palais de Académies in Brussels to attend the 2013 Prix Francqui. The prize went to Professor Olivier De Schutter from the Université Catholique de Louvain and Collège d’Europe. Professor De Schutter is also the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food.
On June 11, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia hosted an awards ceremony at the White Palace in Belgrade for “…the top 500 Serbian scholars from all secondary schools in Serbia” according to the official website for the royal family of Serbia.

“…170 beneficiaries of the Poverty Pockets Project Phase III implemented by the Community Centers Association and funded by the Ministry of Planning and International Coordination.
