On August 29, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark arrived at the Nationalhistoriske Museum at Frederiksborg Slot to preview the exhibition, Danmark og Zarernes Rusland: 1600-1900.

On August 29, 2013, Her Imperial Majesty Empress Michiko of Japan was given piano lessons in Kusatsu in the Gunma Prefecture. The imperial couple are currently on holiday in Kusatsu for the next several days.
His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan met with the Palestinian President, Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, this morning in Amman. The two leaders discussed ways to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis and the Syrian crisis.
Later in the evening, His Majesty accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan arrived at the Vatican to begin their brief visit. His Holiness Pope Francis will hold an audience with His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday to discuss various issues including “…ways to enhance Muslim and Christian cooperation and dialogue, the latest developments in the Middle East, and bilateral relations…” according to Petra News.
On Tuesday, August 27, 2013, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan enjoyed a friendly game of Tennis whilst on holiday in Karuizawa, Kitasaku District in the Nagano Prefecture.
On the afternoon of August 28, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway arrived at the Akershus Festning in Oslo to officially open the Sculpture Park. The artworks within the park were designed by various Norwegian youths.
Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands attended an early evening concert, held at the Koninklijk Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, on August 28, 2013.
The princess along with hundreds of lucky guests listened as the European Union Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Thomas Søndergård, performed various works by the late composers, Mr. Igor Stravinsky, and Mr. Hector Berlioz.
