The Ordre de Grimaldi was also presented to several men and women who have “…contributed to the prestige of the Principality with distinction…” according to the Palais Princier.

The king’s surgeons “…removed the temporary prothesis and implanted a permanent one…” according to a spokesman for the Spanish royal court. His Majesty is expected to remain in the hospital for another week.

This morning in Oranjestad, on the island of Aruba, Their Majesties attended a sporting event held at the Guillermo Trinidad stadium. Afterward, Their Majesties attended a luncheon and participated in the launch of the new project entitled, Kansen voor Jongeren in de Caraïben.
The day ended with a gala reception with the governor of Aruba, Mr. Fredis Jose Refunjol.
