On Monday, May 11, 2015, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan attended the launch of the ‘Jordan 2025’ in Amman.
According to Petra News, ‘Jordan 2025’ is a:
“…10-year blueprint for economic and social development. The plan, also dubbed ‘2025 vision’, is based on two scenarios: A conservative one that assumes that the economy would grow by 4.8 per cent in 10 years, and an ambitious scenario that suggests the economy would expand by 7.5 per cent in 2025, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said in his remarks at the ceremony.
The prime minister said the document features a long-term vision for Jordan’s economy that includes over 400 policies and measures to be implemented by the government, private sector and civil society to support economic development in the coming decade.
He added that these policies and procedures seek to boost the rule of law and equal opportunity, and achieve financial sustainability and self-sufficiency.”
On Monday, May 11, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex officially opened the new open the new air operating base at the Thames Valley Air Ambulance Base at the Royal Airforce Benson in Oxfordshire.
The Thames Valley Air Ambulance provides “…life saving service seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering the three counties Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire…” according to the TVAA official website.

On Monday, May 11, 2015, the Swedish royal court released a new photos of His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his fiancée, Miss Sofia Hellqvist. The new images were shot by Swedish photographer, Mr. Mattias Edwall.
The couple will marry on June 13, 2015, inside the Slottskyrkan (royal chapel) at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
On Sunday, may 10, 2015, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales continued his royal tour of amazing New Zealand.
This morning the fun-loving prince visited the town of Invercargill in southern region. Whilst there Prince Harry received a traditional Maori welcome as well as cheers and screams from a hundred or so royal fans. Anyway, the prince also had a chance to meet with local government officials, snuggled with a 118-year-old reptile named Henry, toured Stewart Island, a remote place with “…a population of just 380, and took a short boat ride to Ulva Island, a nature sanctuary mostly covered by unspoilt rainforest…” and a bunch of other fun adventures that you may not be interested in reading at the moment. Just kidding. 🙂

On Sunday, May 10, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, His Royal Highness The Duke of York attended a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey in London in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of VE Day.

On the morning of Sunday, May 10, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Jacques Honoré Rainier of Monaco, Marquis of Baux and Her Serene Highness Princess Gabriella Thérèse Marie of Monaco, Countess of Carladès, were baptized (in the Roman Catholic faith) during obligatory Sunday Mass at the Cathédrale de Monaco. The baptism was presided over by Archbishop Bernard Barsi. The godparents for HSH Hereditary Prince Jacques are: Mr. Christopher LeVine, Jr. and Mrs. Diane de Polignac Nigra. For HSH Princess Gabriella the godparents are: Mr. Gareth Wittstock and Mrs. Nerine Pienaar.
Guests in attendance included Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Mr. Andrea Casiraghi, Mr. Pierre Casiraghi and his beautiful fiancée, Miss Beatrice Borromeo, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Mr. Louis Ducruet, Miss Pauline Ducruet, Miss Camille Gottlieb, Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy and her daughter, Miss Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, Mrs. Donatella Knecht de Massy (Princess Charlene’s Maid of Honor), Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wittstock, Mr. Sean Wittstock and his lovely wife, Chantel, Ms. Roisin Galvin (fiancée of Mr. Gareth Wittstock), Mr. and Mrs. John Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher LeVine, TRHs The Duke and Duchess of Castro, Danish designer Ms. Isabella Christensen, Monégasque free-diver Mr. Pierre Frolla, numerous Monégasque government officials, and friends of Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
After the Mass and baptism, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene met with well-wishers along the Rue Bellando de Castro on the way to the Palais. Once inside the Palais Princier the princely couple along with their precious little ones — Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella — their godparents made their way into the Salon des Glaces, where Hereditary Prince Jacques received the Grand-Croix dans l’Ordre de Grimaldi and Princess Gabriella received the Grand Officier dans l’Ordre de Grimaldi. While the godparents of Prince Jacques were named the Officers of the Ordre de Saint-Charles and the godparents of Princess Gabriella were named Officers of the Ordre de Grimaldi.
And, with that, warmest congrats as well as many blessings to Their Serene Highnesses and their sweet little ones!
