On Friday, May 29, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall attended the BBC 2’s500 Words Final competition and reception held at St. James’s Palace in London.
Established in 2010, the 500 Words competition “…attracted more than 120,000 entries during 2015 and the presentation ceremony featured live performances from boy band The Vamps and singer Will Young, accompanied by the London Community Gospel Choir…” according to Clarence House.

On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover accompanied by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 48th Concours International de Bouquets held at the Chapiteau de l’espace, Fontvieille.
Organized by the Garden Club de Monaco this year’s theme was Russia. Though the Concours International de Bouquet is for amateurs only a handful of experts participate in the competition in specified category.
The bouquets in the competition “…are judged by two juries: the official jury is comprised of judges who are qualified in floral art. The special jury, chaired by HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, is made up of celebrities from the literary and artistic worlds…”
On Sunday, the award ceremony was held at the Hôtel Hermitage in the presence of Princess Caroline.
On Friday, May 29, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II made a one-day visit to Lancaster, England.
During yesterday’s visit Her Majesty made a private visit to Lancaster Castle which is celebrating its “…750th Anniversary of the creation of the Duchy of Lancaster Inheritance…” writes the BBC News. After viewing a performance of William Shakespeare’s, Richard II. The day ended with a tour of Myerscough College in Billsborrow.

On May 28, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark attended the 2015 Specialskolernes Idrætsdag (Special Schools Sports Day) held at the Aabenraa Stadium in Aabenraa.
According to the newspaper, LokalAvisen, students from special needs schools from around South Jutland participated in today’s activities. During her visit “…the Princess toured a sensory tent, where children with multiple disabilities had the opportunity to have different stimulated senses…”
