On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan attended a memorial service at Kannonzaki Park in Yokosuka in the Kanagawa Prefecture to commemorate the “…commercial vessel sailors..” who died during the Pacific Theater of World War II.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the 2015 Premio Príncipe de Viana de la Cultura held at the Monasterio de San Salvador de Leyre in Navarra, Spain.
The winner of the award went to writer, poet, and musicologist, Mr. Ramon Andres Gonzalez-Cobo.
On June 10, 2015, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands attended the 10th commemoration of the Tuin van Bezinning (The Garden of Reflection) in Warnsveld.
The garden is a “…memorial place for families and friends of police officers during the course of their work were killed by an accident or violence…” according to the photo agency, PPE.
On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands opened a new wing at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (MPIP) in Nijmegen.
The purpose of the MPIP is to:
“…undertake basic research into the psychological,social and biological foundations of language. The goal is to understand how our minds and brains process language, how language interacts with other aspects of mind, and how we can learn languages of quite different types.”
On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales helped to launch the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland held at Twickenham Stadium in London. The popular prince is Honorary President of England Rugby 2015.
On June 9, 2015, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales opened the new £18.2 million Bekynton Field Development at Eton College in Windsor, England.
According to the BBC News the:
“…new building is the biggest addition to the school since it was founded in the 15th Century. It includes facilities for the school’s modern languages, politics, economics, divinity departments as well as a 300-seat lecture theatre and a new Eton Museum of Antiquities.”

On Tuesday, June 9, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain participated in a meeting with members of the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.
Held under the theme, Desayuno con Empresas , today’s meeting was aimed to “…raise awareness of the business sector on the social problem of cancer…” according to the Spanish royal court.
