On March 22, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the attended World Child and Youth Forum held at the Rikssalen at the royal palace in Stockholm.
On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden visited Landskrona to participate in 600th anniversary celebrations of the city. During yesterday’s event His Majesty met with local dignitaries, gave a speech, mingled with townspeople, and unveiled a new plaque.
This morning His Majesty accompanied by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden participated in the Advisory Council meeting held at the royal palace.
On March 20, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden was in Riga, Latvia for a brief visit. During her visit Her Majesty had a chance to participate in the “…Mentor Latvia seminar entitled, Investing in Youth: The Future of Latvia, which emphasizes the importance of the mentoring movement in helping young people in out-of-family-care institutions become full-fledged society members.”
According to the LETA news agency, Her Majesty also met with the President of Latvia, Mr. Andris Berzins, in the capital. Discussions focused on “…Latvian-Swedish bilateral partnership, the work of Riga and UMEA as the European Capitals of Culture in 2014…”

On March 19, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip hosted a luncheon for the Minister of Defense, Ms. Karin Enström.
And, finally, on March 20 His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf attended the Royal Palace Sprint. Also in attendance were Their Royal Highnesses Prince Carl Philip and Prince Daniel.
On March 18, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden was at the Kungsmadsskolan and Linnéuniversitetetin in Växjö to met with the Prince Daniel Fellowship, “… an entrepreneurial programs designed to inspire young people to become entrepreneurs and to support a number of companies through mentoring.”
