Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain Attends a Special Mass in Greece. (VIDEOS)

HMSsOn March 6, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias,  Her Royal Highness Infanta Elena of Spain, Her Royal Highness Infanta Cristina of Spain, His Majesty King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece along with their children, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana of Greece, Her Royal Highness Princess Theodora of Greece, His Royal Highness Prince Philippos of Greece, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, His Majesty King Simeon II of Bulgaria, attended a special Mass held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Paul I of Greece.

The Greek Orthodox Mass was held at the “…cemetery at Tatoi Palace…” outside of Athens, Greece.

HMSsOn March 5, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain accompanied by Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Pavlos and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece along with their children, and Their Royal Highnesses Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana of Greece attended the première of the documentary,Ένας Ασυνήθιστος Βασιλιάς (Paul: An Uncommon King), at the Gennadios Library in Athens, Greece.  The documentary was directed by Mr. Nick Politis.

Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias Attends a Ceremony at the Palacio del Senado. (VIDEO)

On Friday, February 28, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias arrived at the Palacio del Senado in Madrid to attend a ceremony held on the occasion of Día Mundial de las Enfermedades Raras.

Today’s ceremony was organized by the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER) in collaboration with the Organización Europea de Enfermedades Raras (EURORDIS).

On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias visited the I.E.S. Universidad Laboral de Albacete and Fábrica de Cuchillos ARCOS in Albacete.

Established in 1745, Fábrica de Cuchillos ARCOS is:

“…the first Spanish kitchen cutlery-making company with international scope and one of the oldest knife & cutlery manufacturers in the world. The National Archaeological Museum in Madrid has in its collection some of the pieces ‘Arcos-Albazete’, made by Juan de Arcos in 1745 and 1746.

In the year 1875, Gregorio Arcos Aroca, turned the small hand-crafted workshop where he made knives, scissors and daggers into a factory of machinery for the industrial mass production of knives. One century later, Gregorio Arcos Villanueva started the international expansion of the company. This family business is proud of its remarkable recognition and development…”

His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias Attends the Inauguration of the 2014 GSMA Mobile World Congress. (VIDEOS)

On February 24, 2014, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias arrived at the Fira de Barcelona to attend the inauguration of the 2014 GSMA Mobile World Congress.

Yesterday evening the prince attended a welcoming dinner, hosted by the Comité Ejecutivo de la GSMA and the Fundación Barcelona Mobile World Capital, at the Palacio Albéniz in Barcelona.

On Monday, February 24, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain visited the Nacional de España and the Compañía Nacional de Danza at the Naves del Matadero in Madrid.

The day began with a tour of the Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (INAEM) which is celebrating their 35th anniversary.  Thereafter, Her Majesty was treated to several performances by the Nacional de España and by the Compañía Nacional de Danza.
