His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits Chabeuil and Montélimar, France. (VIDEOS)

On May 17, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Chabeuil, France for a brief visit.  According to the Palais Princier, the sovereign prince, “…visited the old Hôtel des Princes and inaugurated the Place ‘Marie-Pelline Grimaldi of Monaco: Maid of Chabeuil’.”

From there Prince Albert II travelled to Montélimar where he was warmly welcomed to the town by the Deputy Mayor of Montélimar, Mr. Franck Reynier, as well as by local government officials and dignitaries.  After pleasant lunch held in his honor Prince Albert II visited Château des Adhémar, toured the “…town’s market square and the Sainte-Croix…” and much more.

exhibitionOn Wednesday, May 15, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Hôtel des Ventes de Monte-Carlo to view an exhibition by Irish artist, Mr. Mark McFadden.

In other news, last evening the sovereign prince and Princess Charlene had a lovely dinner at the Cordon d’Or located at the Lycée Technique et Hôtelier in Monaco.

monacoTheir Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the opening night of the Italian Luxury Club at held at Zelos in Monte-Carlo on May 10, 2013.

During their brief visit the princely couple were presented with a check worth 10,000 Euros “…for the benefit of the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco.”

This morning the sovereign prince and princess presided over the inauguration of the Lycée Technique et Hôtelier in Monaco.  During the event Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene mingled with staff and dignitaries.

palaisprincierOn Friday, May 10, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2013 White Feather Foundation Charity Ball in Beausoleil, France.  The purpose of the foundation, run Princess Charlene’s close friend, Mr. Julian Lennon, is to:

“…embrace[s] environmental and humanitarian issues and in conjunction with partners from around the world helps to raise funds for the betterment of all life, and to honour those who have truly made a difference.”

TSHs Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the 2013 Monte-Carlo Prix Femme de l’Année. (VIDEO)

PalaisPrincierOn the evening of May 7, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2013 Prix Monte-Carlo Femme de l’Année (Woman of the Year) awards and gala held at the Sporting d’hiver in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

The Prix Monte-Carlo Femme de l’Année “…celebrates women from diverse sections of society and various parts of the world, who, thanks to their personal or professional actions, have had a positive impact on their own lives or on the lives of others.”

This year’s recipients of the award went to the President of the Ecoute Cancer Réconfort Association, Ms.Adeline Garino, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Cervical Cancer Prevention Specialist, Dr. Diane Harper.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover Attend a Charity Concert at the Grimaldi Forum.

SAS le Prince AlbertOn Sunday, May 5, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended Les Violons de l’espoir charity concert held at the Grimaldi Forum.

Funds raised during last evening’s concert, organized by the Association Les Amis de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, were donated to the University of Jerusalem’s Center for Brain Sciences.

Guests in attendance listened to the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo perform works by Beethoven, Bloch, Tchaikovsky and more. Following the concert there was a lovely gala dinner held at the Hotel de Paris.
