On July 28, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain to attend the 15th Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) World Championships. Whilst at yesterday’s competition the sovereign prince presented medals “…during the victory ceremony of the women’s 4×100-metre freestyle relay swimming event…”
In other news, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias attended the FINA gala dinner on Saturday, July 27, 2013, alongside legendary Olympian, Mr. Michael Phelps, and hundreds of other VIP guests.
On the evening of July 27, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, Mr. Andrea Casiraghi and his lovely fiancée, Ms. Tatiana Santo Domingo, and famed fashion designer, Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, attended the 4th Edition of The Love Ball (also known as the Love Ball Riviera 2013) held at the Opéra Garnier in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
The Love Ball is a charity fundraising gala dinner and auction hosted by model and philanthropist, Ms. Natalia Vodianova, in support of her personal charity, The Naked Heart Foundation.
Founded in 2004 the aim of The Naked Heart Foundation is to provide:
“…care for disadvantaged children in Russia with the twin mission-statement of building secure public playgrounds across the country and the development and distribution of social services for the families of children with special needs.”

Last week His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by several officials from the Chambre de Développement Economique de Monaco met with a “…delegation of German entrepreneurs from the Bundesverband Mittelständische Wirtschaft…” at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco. The purpose of the meeting was to “…develop stronger business ties between the two countries…”
In other news, the sovereign prince sent his message of condolence this afternoon to Their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain upon hearing the news of train derailment that killed 40 people and injured hundreds near Santiago de Compostela, Spain late yesterday afternoon.
And, finally, last evening Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended Diner aux Chandelles organized by the Monaco de Mairie.

On Saturday, July 20, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Annot located in southeastern France to inaugurate Maison d’Amélie, a home for those with physical and mental disabilities.
The home, which accommodates 19 individuals and their families, is a project developed by l’association Monaco Disease Power.
Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco enjoyed a lovely concert this evening held in the courtyard of the Palais Princier in Monaco.
Guests who attended this evening’s event listened as conductor, Mr. Gianluigi Gelmetti, led the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo play works by the late Robert Schumann and the late Antonín Dvořák.
On July 18, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by well-known photographer and explorer, Mr. Filip Kulisev arrived at the Galerie des Pêcheurs in Monaco-Ville to attend a private viewing of the exhibition, Amazing Planet: Best of 2013.
