On the evening of October 1, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este, Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este, attended the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) charity gala dinner held at the new Yacht Club de Monaco building.
According to the Palais Princier, the sovereign prince is Honorary President of the EORTC Charitable Trust.
Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated the new premises of the Centre Scientifique de Monaco (CSM).
Established in 1960 by the late His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco the Centre Scientifique de Monaco aims to provide:
“…the Principality of Monaco with the means of carrying out oceanographic research and to support governmental and international organizations responsible for the protection and conservation of marine life.
Research focuses on two key biological processes of these ecosystems: Marine Biomineralization and Symbiosis.”
On September 30, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover presided over 2014 Prix de la Fondation Prince Pierre held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco.
On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at Port Hercules in Monaco to attend the opening of the 24th Edition of the International Monaco Yacht Show.
On Monday, September 22, 2014, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2014 Clinton Global Initiative opening plenary session held at the Sheraton New York hotel in New York City. Earlier, Prince Albert II participated in the Pristine Seas advisory board meeting.
And, finally, last Sunday the sovereign prince gave a speech during the Ocean Elders Second Annual Summit dinner, again, in New York City.
On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended EXPO Milano 2015: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life in Milan, Italy.
During yesterday’s event the sovereign prince participated in a roundtable discussion held under the theme, Best Sustainable Development Practices on Food Security.
The event was held on “…the occasion of the first meeting of the International Selection Committee which was chaired by Prince Albert II of Monaco.”
On Sunday, September 14, 2014, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the “…final round of The Evian Championship at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France.”
