His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends a Conference at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

On March 6, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was at the University of Milano – Bicocca in Italy to participate in the environmental and scientific conference entitled, Protecting the Mediterranean From Pollution: Results and Future Challenges.

Today’s conference, in collaboration with the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco,  was attended by various experts in the field of environmental science such as Professor Marcello Fontanesi, and Professor Tullio Scovazzi to name a few.

According to the Palais Princier de Monaco after the conference Prince Albert II attended the signing of “…an agreement between Associazione Italiana della Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco Onlus and the Finelco Communication Group…”

In the evening,  His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended a gala fundraising dinner, organized by Associazione Italiana della Foundation Prince Albert II of Monaco Onlus, held at the Palazzo Mezzanotte. The funds raised during the event will benefit various projects supported by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.

Random Royal News Regarding His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, and HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco (VIDEO)

His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales in currently in the Bahamas representing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Today, March 4, 2012, Prince Harry attended a “… service of morning prayer…” held at the Christ Church Cathedral in Nassau, Bahamas.  The prince also attended a reception at Government House, gave a speech at Rawson Square, opened an art exhibition  (also in Rawson Square), shook hands with hundreds of well-wishers, and more.

Meanwhile, in today’s edition of the online newspaper, Look Local South Africa, it was announced that there is a new documentary from the German television network, ZDF, currently in production regarding Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco and Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.

This new program analyzes the princess and the duchess and how they have adapted to their new lives within their respective royal and princely houses.  South African journalist and close friend to Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene, Mr. Clyde Meela, was interviewed along with the princess’s family as well as other friends.

The yet untitled documentary will air on June 26, 2012 on ZDF and will most likely be available to watch online a day or two later.   🙂

Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco Helps the South African Olympic Swimming Team

According to the South African online newspaper, Times Live, Her SereneHighness Princess Charlene of Monaco has offered to help the South African Olympic Swimming team prepare for the upcoming Summer Olympics in London, England by providing the team accommodations as well as a practice facility in Monaco.

“We only have to cover travel expenses. She will take care of everything else,” says South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee CEO Tubby Reddy.

If the South African Olympic Swimming team accepts the princess’s offer they can start practicing on June 1, 2012.

Well, that’s sweet of her.   🙂

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Plus, Other News.

On Sunday, February 26, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar party hosted by Graydon Carter and held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, CA.  The princely couple mingled with various guests including Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes-Cruise, the Beckhams, Meryl Streep, the Weinsteins, Colin Firth, Jean Dujardin and his wife, and many more.

Meanwhile, the Palais Princier de Monaco announced that there is a new documentary entitled, Chefs des Chefs: Dans les Coulisses du Palais de Monaco, airing on France 3 tonight.

The one-hour program focuses on “…behind the scenes of the kitchens in the palais…” and chef Christian Garcia who has worked for the Princely family of Monaco for 24 years.   Click here for more information (in French).

Chefs des Chefs: Dans les Coulisses du Palais de Monaco will most likely be available to watch online later this week on France 3.

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco On the Red Carpet at the 84th Academy Awards!

On February 26, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco made their début on the red carpet at the 84th Academy Awards.

The princely couple mingled with several of the nominees as well as studio executives attending the world-famous event.  The Prince and Princess were also interviewed live on the red carpet as well.  In case you did know by now Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were personally invited to the 84th Academy Awards by “… M. Robert A. Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company.”

Random Royal News Regarding Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover and the Duke of Vendôme

According to the Austrian newspaper, Kleine Zeitung, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover is currently in Lech, Austria on holiday with her family.  It is unknown if the beautiful princess met with members of the Dutch royal family whilst at the luxurious ski resort.  Click here to read the full article. (in German).
