His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover View a Photo Exhibition (VIDEO)

On May 29, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended a photo exhibition entitled, Food For Hope: Together Against Hunger, held at the Galerie des Pêcheurs.

According to the Gouvernement Princier de Monaco the exhibition, presented by the United Nations World Food Programme, consists of 40 photos which are:

… are a reflection of the particularly harsh life of third world people who are being helped by the WFP.  The government in Monaco continues collaborates with the WFP with emergency aid and more…

His Imperial Majesty Emperor Akihito of Japan Holds an Audience with the President of Paraguay. Plus, Other News. (VIDEO)

His Imperial Highness Emperor Akihito of Japan held an audience with the President of Paraguay, Mr. Fernando Lugo, at  the Imperial Palace on May 30, 2012.

According to the Mainichi Daily News via the Imperial Household Agency the emperor, “… expressed his gratitude of Japanese-Paraguayans who sent 1 million blocks of Tofu made using Paraguayan soybeans to the March 2011 disaster hit regions in Japan…”

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the Gala de L’Automobile Club de Monaco

On Sunday evening, May 27, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the Gala de L’Automobile Club de Monaco, in honor of the 2012 Grand Prix de Monaco, held at the Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo.

Guests included Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex, actor & director, Mr. Ron Howard, former F1 world champion, Mr. Niki Lauda, director George Lucas and his longtime partner Ms. Melody Hobson, Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro and her husband, various F1 racers, and of course the winner of the 2012 F1 Grand Prix de Monaco, Mr. Mark Webber and his lovely wife.

Sorry, but I make an innocent mistake with regards to Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.  Her correct title is: Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro.  Her husband is Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro.  You can read more about the couple on their official website here.

Random Royal News Regarding Their Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco

It certainly has been a busy weekend for Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco and on Saturday, May 26, 2012, the princely couple met with staff and people from Association Monégasque des Handicapés Moteurs.  The prince and princess wanted to met with “…people with disabilities…” who were enjoying the F1 Grand Prix de Monaco.

On Sunday, May 27, 2012, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, wearing the spring 2012 Grand Prix-Print crew neckline dress by Akris, along with Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex and Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover’s sons, Pierre and Andrea Casiraghi watched the finals of the F1 Grand Prix de Monaco. Afterward, the sovereign prince presented a lovely trophy to the winner of the race, Mr. Mark Webber from Australia.

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the 2012 Amber Lounge Fashion Show

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2012 Amber Lounge Fashion show held at the Le Meridien Plaza Hotel in Monaco on May 25, 2012.

The purpose of this annual event is to raise money for the Special Olympics.  In case you are wondering what the princess is wearing, well, it’s Akris: Spring 2012.

 Yay.

Any way, guests in attendance included mushroom haircut devotee & billionaire, Bernie Ecclestone, actress Jennifer Lawrence, and bunch of extremely tanned people with lots of money.

ISSA London headlined the fashion show with Formula One racers modeling clothes by German designer, Philipp Plein.  Attendees also had a chance to view a new swimwear collection by Nichole de Carle London entitled, Serpentine, in “… recognition of the 2012 London Olympics…”

Fabulous.

Their Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend the Second Practice Session at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. Plus, Other News.

On May 24, 2012, Their Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the “… second practice session at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix…”  Whilst there they mingled with attendees as well as the security staff.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and former President of the United States Bill Clinton Attend the Charity Gala Event, ‘Nights in Monaco’.

On May 23, 2012, at the Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended the charity gala event entitled, Nights in Monaco. Accompanying the sovereign prince was former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, Baroness Elisabeth Anne de Massy and her lovely daughter, Melanie-Antoinette.

Guests included actress Diane Kruger and her actor boyfriend from the television show, Dawson’s Creek, Lydia Fenet, Sagine Archer, actress Rose McGowen, billionaires, models, singers, and that guy from the movie Titanic who played Rose’s fiancé.

The purpose of the charity gala was to raise money for the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco and the William J. Clinton Foundation which “…will be shared equally…” according to Nights in Monaco organizers.

Guests lucky enough to attend the event paid up to $100,000 to chill with the awesome former President and the sovereign prince.  They, the guests, also participated in an auction where they received some pretty cool gifts including a fun-filled day with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene.  Well, actually, not all day, but a nice private tour of the pretty Palais Princier de Monaco:

[where] you and your guest will be bedazzled by the exquisite Grand Appartements de Reception, including the majestic Throne Room, the elegant and charming Salons and much more. You will also visit the Cour d’Honneur (palace courtyard) where their magnificent princely wedding took place and a visit to the Chapelle Palatine.  Your visit will end in the stunning gardens, around the swimming pool, where you will enjoy some refreshments and finger foods with Their Serene Highnesses.

This experience also includes two VIP places at the prestigious ‘International Jumping of Monte-Carlo’, taking place in June 2013…

Other prizes included a trip to crappy Los Angeles, CA (I can say that, by the way, because I live here   🙂 ),  a citrine and diamond ring from Guli Collections, attend the Formula One “Meet & Greet”, diamonds from Brazilian jewelry designer, Carla Amorim, and much more.
