H.R.H Princess Clotilde of Savoy, Princess of Venice and Piedmont Attends the Premiere of ‘PIrates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ in Cannes, France

On May 14, 2011, H.R.H Princess Clotilde of Savoy, Princess of Venice and Piedmont attended the world premiere of the highly anticipated movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, during the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

The French-born actress turned princess looked really nice in her peach colored dress (though the sweat stains are a distraction.)

Princess Clotilde of Venice and Piedmont Attends a Fashion Show in Paris

On March 3, 2011, Princess Clotilde of Venice and Piedmont attended a fashion show in Paris, France along with other fashion writers, bloggers, and buyers.  The venue:  The Grand Hotel.  The Show:  Balmain.

Like Princess Tatiana of Greece, the former actress turned Princess, Clotilde’s position as a princess is pretty much useless (the Venice and Piedmont house are non-reigning in Italy.)  So, yeah… basically she doesn’t really do anything unless of course one considers attending fashion shows and cocktail parties a job.  However, I will say that she seems to be a very kind person.  Why?  Well, she along with her husband, Prince Emanuele Filiberto decided to adopt two Kenyan orphans… financially that is.  You see, the couple will take care of these two orphans by taking care of them monetarily until they are of age.  The children will remain in Kenya while Clotilde and Emanuele will live a billion miles away and perhaps visit every so often.

Prince Emanuele Filiberto and Princess Clotilde of Savoy adopted two sons from Kenya? Appartently

This is a lovely shock if it’s true.  Apparently, Prince Emanuele Filiberto and Princess Clotilde of Savoy adopted two sons from Kenya according to the photo site, Profimedia.cz and TRFs.

Per Profimedia.cz:

For Prince Emanuele Filiberto and Princess Clotilde of Savoy were, in the beginning of January, in Kenya.  Not for [on] holiday, but for adopting two sons from an Italian orphanage.

At this time there is not much information other than what Profimedia is reporting, and I hope they are correct because if they wrong… oh boy!
