Her Imperial Highness Crown Princess Masako of Japan Will Attend the Inauguration of HRH Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje. (VIDEO)

According to the newspaper, Japan Times, the “Cabinet” has given the thumbs up for Her Imperial Highness Crown Princess Masako of Japan to accompany her husband, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan to the inauguration of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Netherlands on April 30, 2013 in Amsterdam.

In other news, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand have also confirmed their attendance to the upcoming inauguration of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander.  Click here for more information.

Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan accompanied by His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito and Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko hosted a lovely spring garden party held at the Akasaka Imperial Garden in Tokyo.  Click here to view photos from Mainichi News.

In other news, it seems that Her Imperial Highness Crown Princess Masako of Japan is one step closer to attending the April 30 inauguration/investiture of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje.  Yesterday,sources claimed the crown princess “…may travel aboard [for the inauguration]… the Imperial Household Agency said it cannot confirm the reports of the trip.”  Now, it seems the IHA is “making arrangements” for the trip and that they are “…consulting with the head of the crown princess’s medical team, Yutaka Ono…”    Click here to read an article from Asahi Shimbun

According to various sources Her Imperial Highness Crown Princess Masako of Japan may be allowed to travel to Amsterdam, Netherlands, along with her husband, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan, to attend the inauguration/investiture of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje on April 30.

If the Imperial Household Agency (IHA) believes the lovely crown princess is healthy enough to leave the country for several days, well, it would be a damn miracle.  So, keep your fingers crossed, folks.   🙂

News Regarding Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan. (VIDEO)

On April 12, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan attended a charity ball in Minato-ku, Tokyo to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the International Ladies Benevolent Society. This is the first time in 20 years that the emperor and empress have danced in public according to various sources.  It is also being reported that the emperor and empress practiced the waltz and tango at the palace just days before charity ball.  Aw… they are just too cute.   🙂

And, finally, earlier this week the imperial couple “…watched a Kabuki performance at the new Kabukiza Theater in Tokyo.”

Here is a video news report regarding Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan.  Apparently, Their Imperial Highnesses were invited to the upcoming inauguration/investiture of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje on April 30, 2013 in the Netherlands.

Unfortunately, a decision has yet to be made.  Nevertheless, I do believe Crown Prince Naruhito will attend though Crown Princess Masako will not.  The Imperial Household Agency (IHA) will no doubt claim that she is still to ill to travel outside of the palace or her room for that matter.  Poor woman.

News Regarding Members of the Imperial Family of Japan. (VIDEO)

japanOn April 8, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan welcomed the President of Mexico, Mr. Enrique Peña Nieto, and his wife, Ms. Angelica Rivera, to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.  The President and his delegation are on a four-day visit to Japan to strengthen bilateral and economic ties between the two countries.

After a private meeting Their Imperial Majesties accompanied by His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito and several Japanese officials, hosted a luncheon in honor of President Nieto and his delegation at the Imperial Palace.

And, finally, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan, attended an enrollment ceremony of their only son, Prince Hisahito, on April 7, 2013.  The little prince started elementary school.
