On Monday, November 10, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited the headquarters of TOMRA in Asker as well as the company’s production facility in Lier, Norway. According to the official website for TOMRA, the company is an:
“…advanced automated recycling sorting systems for various waste and metal material streams deliver clear commercial, legislative and environmental benefits. The sensor-based sorting systems recover clean material fractions, delivering significantly higher yields and increased value from the input material than with traditional separation methods such as dense media separation or manual sorting.”

On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh visited the Royal Commonwealth Society in London.
On January 19, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 82nd Edition of the Rallye de Monte-Carlo awards ceremony held in the Palais Princier courtyard. During Sunday’s event the sovereign prince presented trophies to the top three winners of the race.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway participated in the 2013 Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Forum held at the OECD Conference Center in Paris, France.
During today’s opening session the heir to the Norwegian throne gave a keynote speech along with the Secretary-General of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurría. In the afternoon, Crown Prince Haakon along with ten other speakers participated in a roundtable discussion held under the theme, Food for Thought: The Power of One.

On May 18, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia arrived at the ancient city of Viminacium (once the “…capital of the Roman province of Moesia Superior” and now a major archeological site) to attend the opening of the exhibition, Constantine the Great and the Edict of Milan 313: The Birth of Christianity in the Roman Provinces on the Territory of Serbia.
