In an interview with the French magazine, Point de Vue, His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Luxembourg and his fiancée, Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue, made a dramatic announcement: They broke off their engagement. “We are not going to get married…” said the Prince. “There are no problems within our relationship; however, fundamental differences in our opinions led us to this decision…”
To be honest I am quite puzzled as to why the couple decided to make this announcement via a French magazine. Traditionally, it would have been through the Cour Grand-Ducale, but not this time. Strange.
Anyway, as the interview goes on, which took place in Paris, the couple assured their fans, family and Point de Vue readers that the couple will remain “friends”.
Well, that sucks… I was really looking forward to another royal wedding.
