His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, as patron of the Stichting Nederlandse Vioolconcoursen, was at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam this afternoon to attend the Oskar Back Vioolconcours finals. During today’s event the younger brother of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje presented various prizes to several talented violinists participating in the competition according to RVD.

On April 26, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje officially open the new “…International Willem-Alexander Rowing Course in the Eendragtspolder at the rowing course in Zevenhuizen.”

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands officially launched the Koningsspelen this afternoon at De Triangel and Het Palet in Enschede.
According to RVD, the Koningsspelen, an initiative of the Nationaal Comité Inhuldiging, is an event in which “…schools throughout the Netherlands and the Caribbean participate in a day of games and sports in celebration of His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje’s upcoming inauguration as king on April 30.”
Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands officially opened the Oranjefietsroute in Diepenheim on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
Per RVD:
“The 230-kilometer cycling route travels through the towns of Apeldoorn, Bad Bentheim, Lingen and Diepenheim. Each of these towns have a historical connection to the House of Oranje-Nassau thus cyclists are able to learn about the history of the Nederlandse Koninklijk Huis (Dutch Royal House). Along the route are panels and posts with audio information…”

His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje officially opened the 8th Edition of The Next Web (TNW) Europe Conference in Amsterdam. This two-day event brings together hundreds of “…specialists and entrepreneurs [from around the world] to discuss the future of technology, the Internet, and media. The mission of the conference is to accelerate entrepreneurship, educate, inspire and bring people and businesses together to do business on a global scale.”

And, finally, Prince Willem-Alexander arrived in Den Haag this afternoon to attend a farewell seminar entitled, Should We Stay or Should We Go? On the Future of Europe and the Eurozone, held on the occasion of Professor Coen Teulings as director of the Centraal Planbureau according to RVD.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was at the TNO in Den Haag this morning to officially launch, Girls Day: Voor Bètawetenschap en Techniek, an event organized by Landelijk Expertisebureau Meisjes/Vrouwen and Bèta/Techniek (VHTO).
According to RVD, “…various technology companies as well as research and educational institutions throughout the Netherlands encourages young women, ages 10-15, to become acquainted with beta science, technology, and ICT.”
