On Monday, April 14, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands held an audience with the President of the German Federal Council, Mr. Stephan Weil, at Palais Noordeinde in Den Haag.

On the evening of April 8, 2014, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, and other members of the Dutch royal family attended the Koningsdagconcert at the Philharmonie in Haarlem.
According to RVD, this evening’s concert included a performance by the “…Holland Baroque Society and jazz trumpeter, Eric Vloeimans…”

On the morning of April 8, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Rotterdam to officially open the Campus Hoogvliet.
According to RVD, Campus Hoogbvliet contains:
“…three schools, a residential building for young people, a sports facility and an art studio. In addition to a large and varied educational VMBO to MBO Gymnasium, the Campus offers 94 residential studios for young people. Campus Hoogvliet also offers business facilities on campus and opportunities for the establishment of young entrepreneurs…”

On April 2, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands inaugurated The Gallery at the Kennispark Twente in Enschede.
According to RVD, The Gallery provides “…accommodation and facilities for knowledge-intensive companies, open innovation and service counters for innovative companies.”
On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands christened the new Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij Nh1816 rescue boat in IJmuiden.
According to the photo news agency, PPE, the new rescue boat was donated from “…the charity foundation Nh1816 insurance. Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij was founded in 1824 and saves more than 3,000 people in the North Sea.”

On the afternoon of March 29, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands attended the Grondwet Festival in Den Haag.
According to RVD, the festival was organized by the “…Nationaal Comité 200 Jaar Koninkrijk on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Dutch Constitution.”
On the evening of March 27, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands arrived at the Oosterpoort Theater in Groningen to attend the 3rd Edition of the Prince Claus concert.
