On July 4, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands visited the Buzinezzclub in Den Haag.
Established in 2009 the organization guides young people on benefit in education, work, or their business venture. The Buzinezzclub is also a member of the Oranje Fonds Groeiprogramma.

On the evening of July 3, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands attended the opening of the new Tivoli Vredenburg music center in Utrecht.
According to RVD, the new building contains “…five halls for classical, pop, jazz and dance…”

On June 28, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands accompanied by the Dutch Prime Minister, Mr. Mark Rutte, attended the 10th Nederlandse Veteranendag (Veterans Day) in Den Haag.
According to RVD, Veteranendag was established by the:
“…government and is organized by the Comité Nederlandse Veteranendag with the support of the Ministerie van Defensie. It is a tribute to the more than 100,000 Dutch veterans – from World War II to the mission in Mali – who have worked in the service of peace.”

On Friday, June 27, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands attended the reopening of the newly renovated Mauritshuis in Den Haag.
According to RVD, the museum houses famous works by:
“…Dutch and Flemish painters of the Dutch Golden Age. Masterpieces include ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ by Vermeer, ‘The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp’ by Rembrandt and ‘The Goldfinch’ Fabritius.
The core of the collection consists of paintings that were once owned by William V, Prince of Orange-Nassau. Before the Mauritshuis in 1822 became a public museum, among others the building served as the residence of Count Johan Maurits of Nassau Siegen, governor of the Dutch colony in Brazil.”
