On September 6, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Marie of Denmark arrived at the Messe C Center in Fredericia to attend the 2013 Care Festival, a trade fair organized by the Danske Handicaporganisationer and MESSE C Fredericia.
On September 5, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark arrived at the Kastellet in Copenhagen to participate in Flagdagens and a wreath laying ceremony in honor of Danish soldiers according to the Danish royal court. Afterward, the royal couple attended a memorial service at Holmens Kirke.

On her final day in Morocco Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, accompanied by representatives from the Mary Fonden, visited the Association Pour le Développement Likaa NGO. Whilst there the crown princess toured Likaa’s one of charity shops, according to the Danish royal court.
Thereafter, Crown Princess Mary arrived at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca were she was given a tour. Soon, the crown princess arrived at Tilila, a shelter for women who were victims of domestic abuse, where she was given a tour of the facility and met with several of the women as well as their children living in the shelter.
On September 3, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, accompanied by representatives from the Mary Fonden (Foundation), continued her visit to Rabat, Morocco. The purpose of the visit is to carry out a series of engagements with the “…objective to combat violence against women and improve women’s rights generally in the Middle East and North Africa…” according to the Danish royal court.
This morning the crown princess arrived at the Danish Embassy where she held a meeting with two representatives from Morocco fighting for women’s rights. Soon, Crown Princess Mary and representatives from the Mary Fonden arrived at the Union de l’Action Féminine (UAF), a shelter for women who were victims of domestic violence.
Thereafter, the crown princess and her delegation met with women who were victims of violence, attended a luncheon hosted by the Danish Ambassador to Morocco, and met with the women’s rights organization, La Ligue Démocratique des Droits des Femmes (LLDF).
