News Regarding Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. (VIDEO)

denmarkOn the morning of October 10, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation, Mr. Christian Friis Bach, participated in a meeting at Christiansborg Slot with members of the Parliamentary Intergroup Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

Meanwhile, in Vilnius, Lithuania His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Mr. Martin Lidegaard, wrapped up their three-day visit to the Baltic county.

This morning the crown prince and Mr. Lidegaard attended a business brunch hosted by the President of Lithuania, Ms. DaliaGrybauskaite , at the Presidential Palace.

Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik and Mr. Lidegaard attended the opening of Danish Days held at the Panorama shopping center in Vilnius.  Whilst there they mingled with various officials, dined on delicious food, checked out the Lego play area, and much more.

HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark Visits Lithuania. Day Two. (VIDEOS)

CP FredOn October 9, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Mr. Martin Lidegaard, continued their three-day visit to beautiful Vilnius, Lithuania.

The day began with the crown prince and Mr. Lidegaard participating in the Danish-Lithuanian Business Forum held at the National Art Gallery.  During the event the crown prince gave an important speech in front of various “…business leaders and decision-makers from Denmark and Lithuania…” and the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite.

Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik and Mr. Lidegaard visited the Danske Bank where the crown prince “…opened the competition for Children on  ‘Financial Literacy.’”  

In the afternoon, the crown prince visited the Vytautas Art Museum to view the exhibition, A Modern Royal Household.  An hour an a half later Crown Prince Frederik arrived in the city center of Vilnius where he met up with the mayor, Mr. Artuas Zuokas.  After a warm welcome and a couple of handshakes the future king of Denmark, Mr. Lidegaard, and Mayor Zuokas hopped rented bikes and took a cycling tour of the old city of Vilnius.  Thirty minutes later and slightly sweaty the crown prince and company arrived at Vilnius University.  Why?  I have no idea.  It was on their schedule/agenda/whatever its called.

Anyway, later in the afternoon Crown Prince Frederik unveiled a new plaque in the city center, and attended a gala reception as well as dinner at the Grand Duke’s Palace in the evening.

HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark Visits Lithuania. (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Mr. Martin Lidegaard, arrived in Vilnius, Lithuania for a three-day “…Danish trade campaign…”

According to the Danish royal court during his visit the future king of Denmark and Mr. Lidegaard will:

“…participate in a number of business-oriented and cultural events with the aim of focusing on Denmark and promoting Danish commercial interests in Lithuania. The program focuses on the energy and food products sectors as well as information and communications technology. Together with Lithuania’s President Dalia Grybauskaite, The Crown Prince opens a Business Forum and takes part in the opening of “Danish Days”, which will be held in the shopping centre “Panorama” in continuation of the trade campaign. The participating companies from Denmark will meet relevant partners from Lithuania at the Business Forum and at seminars and B2B meetings.”

Anyway, Lithuanian President, Dalia Grybauskaite, warmly welcomed Crown Prince Frederik this afternoon as he arrived at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius.  After a formal handshake and a quick photo-op for the press the crown prince and President Grybauskaite held a brief meeting.  Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik and Mr. Lidegaard visited Bang & Olufsen, a Danish company that produces a bunch of really cool multimedia stuff (i.e. televisions, speakers, phones, etc, etc, etc).

His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of TV2.

KongehusetOn the evening of Wednesday, October 2, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark attended the Danish television network, TV2, 25th anniversary show held at the in Odense Congress Center.

According to the Danish royal court this evening’s celebrations will “…[show] great TV moments and notable personalities from TV2’s first 25 years.”

Yay.

Members of the Danish Royal Family Attend the Opening of Folketingets. (VIDEOS)

DRFOn Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark and Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the opening of Folketingets (Parliament) at Christiansborg Slot in Copenhagen.

News Regarding His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark.

CP FredOn Sunday, September 29, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark presented medals and one big fat trophy to the winners of the 2013 European Volleyball Championships in Copenhagen.

Earlier, the future king of Denmark participated in yet another bike race.  This time it was the 2013 Merida MTB Marathon in Hillerød.  So, what race will Crown Prince Frederik participate in the coming months?  Oh, I don’t know…perhaps the 2013 Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i on October 12.  I, mean, he is free (hence nothing on his official calendar, no official duties to complete) to play that day/to do what ever he wants.   🙂

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark Opens ‘Hospital+Innovation Congress’. (VIDEOS)

Crown Princess Mary 2010On September 30, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark officially opened the Hospital+Innovation Congress in Odense.

According to the Danish royal court, Hospital+Innovation Congress “…focuses on health innovation, building hospitals and welfare technology.”  

Yay.
