On Thursday, March 6, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark arrived at the British Museum in London to officially open the highly anticipated exhibition,Vikings: Life and Legend.
Per the British Museum regarding the exhibition:
“Discover the Viking world in this major exhibition – the first at the British Museum for over 30 years. Swords and axes, coins and jewellery, hoards, amulets and religious images show how Vikings created an international network connecting cultures over four continents. At the centre of the exhibition will be the surviving timbers of a 37-metre-long Viking warship, the longest ever found.”

On Thursday, March 6, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Sundbyøster Skole in Copenhagen to preside over the Mary Fondens presentation of the Fri for Mobberi Universet (an anti-bullying campaign).
On March 4, 2014, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark visited the Hôpital Universitaire Des Enfants Reine Fabiola (HUDERF) in Brussels, Belgium.
During his visit the prince met with hospital staff as well as with patients. Prince Joachim also attended the 2014 Diabetes Association European Diabetes Leadership Forum where he gave a keynote speech according to the Danish royal court.
On February 27, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister of Employment, Ms. Mette Frederiksen, visited the Familiens Hus in Høje Taastrup.
On February 27, 2014, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark arrived at the Fredericia Messecenter in Fredericia to attend the 2014 Byggeriets Klima, Energi og Miljøpriser (Building Industry’s Climate, Energy and Environment Awards).
On February 26, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited the HMS Dragon warship at sea.
According to Clarence House, the prince was given a “…tour the ship, including the Operations Room and the Ward Room. [He also attended] a reception with members of the ship’s crew…”
On Thursday, February 20, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark arrived at the Museet på Koldinghus in Kolding to view the exhibition, Leonardo da Vincis Opfindelser.
