HRH The Duke of Rothesay Begins His Three-Day Visit to Scotland.

dukeofrothesayHis Royal Highness The Duke of Rothesay was all smiles this afternoon when he arrived at the Glen Grant Distillery in Rothes, Morayshire in Scotland.  During his visit to the 173-year-old distillery The Duke opened the Glen Grant whiskey bottling plant and unveiled a new plaque.

Prior to his visit to Glen Grant the Duke of Rothesay was in Speyside where he officially opened the “…Helius CoRDe biomass combined heat and power plant and pot ale evaporator plant…” according to Princeofwales.gov.uk.

News Regarding TRHs The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

WilliamandKateOn April 26, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will attend the opening of Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.

Per a press release:

“During the first part of the studio tour, The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will meet some of the creative teams from recent Warner Bros. Productions. They will be given an insight into the film making process and shown some of the props and costumes from those films. The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will then attend the official inauguration of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, during which The Duke of Cambridge will deliver a short speech.

Following the inauguration, Their Royal Highnesses will undertake a tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, based on the same site, where they will view props, costumes and models from the Harry Potter film series. The tour will include: a visit to the Great Hall; a wand lesson in The Gryffindor Common Room; and a special effects demonstration on Diagon Alley. 

The visit will conclude with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry hosting a meeting for their Charities Forum in the Great Hall.”

News Regarding HRH Prince Harry of Wales.

CaptainWalesOn April 25, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will be in Nottingham to visit to important organizations.  The prince will visit the brain injury association, Headway, where he will open the association’s new headquarters.

Prince Harry will also visit the Russell Youth Club and the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.

News Regarding Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge.

qeii-2012It was announced that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will attend the funeral of the former Prime Minister the late Baroness Margaret Thatcher at St. Paul’s Cathedral on April 17, 2013.

The former Prime Minister passed away on April 7, 2013, at the age of 87.  Click here to read an article about this latest news from Channel 4 News.

In other news, on April 23, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Willows Primary School in Wythenshawe, Manchester.  During her visit the Duchess will “…launch a new school counseling program in partnership between the Royal Foundation, Comic Relief, Place2Be and Action on Addiction.”

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh Visit Slough. (VIDEO)

On April 5, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Slough for a brief visit.  This morning Her Majesty and The Duke toured the Mars Chocolate UK factory and officially opened the Britwell Community Center.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh Host a Reception. (VIDEOS)

On April 4, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reception for the British Film Industry at Windsor Castle.  During this evening’s event Her Majesty received an “…honorary BAFTA award in recognition of her lifetime support for the British film and television industry…”

TRHs The Earl and Countess of Strathearn Visit Scotland: Day One. (VIDEOS)

Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Strathearn, aka The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, arrived in Glasgow, Scotland for a two-day visit on April 4, 2013.

This morning the royal couple visited the Emirates Arena in Glasgow where they met with “…organizers and budding athletes participating in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and unveiled a commemorative plaque marking their visit.”  The royal couple also visited the Quarriers Stopover Project, “…a place for young homeless people run by the charity, Quarriers, and visited the Donald Dewar Leisure Centre in Drumchapel where they launched a new Scottish project for their foundation.”
