His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium attended the 84th Trophée National du Mérite Sportif (National Sports Merit Award) held at the Hôtel de Ville de Bruxelles on December 17, 2012. During the ceremony the prince presented the merit award to Belgian sailor, Ms. Evi Van Acker.
On December 13, 2012,Her Majesty Queen Paola of Belgium was at Place Saint-Lambert in Liège where she “… unveiled a commemorative plaque in remembrance of the victims of December 13, 2011 shootings.”
