The Eldest Son of Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este and Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este Set to Marry. (VIDEOS)

belgiumOn Saturday, February 15, 2014, the Belgian royal court announced that His Royal Highness Prince Amedeo of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este will finally marry his longtime love, Miss Elisabetta Maria Rosboch von Wolkenstein.

Prince Amedeo, 28, is eldest son of Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este and Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este.

Miss von Wolkenstein, 26, was born in Rome, Italy, and currently works as a journalist in New York City according to various sources.

At this time the date for the wedding has yet to be announced; however, the Belgian news channel, RTL, speculates that the wedding will take place sometime in the summer of 2014.

Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium Attends a Ballet Performance at the Vlaamse Opera.

MathildeOn the evening of February 13, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended a performance of Romeo and Juliet by the Koninklijk Ballet van Vlaanderen (Royal Ballet of Flanders) at the Vlaamse Opera in Ghent.

According to the official website for the Vlaamse Opera tonight’s performance was accompanied “…live by the Brussels Philharmonic in Ghent and the Flanders Symphony Orchestra in Antwerp.”

TMs King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium Visit Paris, France. (VIDEOS)

belgiumOn Thursday, February 6, 2014, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in Paris, France for a one-day official visit.

Their Majesties, accompanied by the Prime Minister of Belgium, Mr. Elio Di Rupo, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, Mr. Didier Reynders, were warmly welcomed to the City of Lights by the President of France, Mr. François Hollande, at the Palais de l’Élysée.

After a brief photo-op for the press Their Majesties were ushered into the Palais were they attended a luncheon meeting with President Hollande and other government officials.
