The winners of the 2015 Nobel Prize are:
The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded jointly to Mr. Takaaki Kajita and Mr. Arthur B. McDonald for the “…discovery of neutrino oscillations, which shows that neutrinos have mass.”
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded jointly to Mr. Tomas Lindahl, Mr. Paul Modrich and Mr. Aziz Sancar for “…mechanistic studies of DNA repair.”
The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was divided, one half jointly to Mr. William C. Campbell and Mr. Satoshi Ōmura for “…their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites.” And, the other half to Ms. Youyou Tu for her “…discoveries concerning a novel therapy against Malaria.”
The Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to Ms. Svetlana Alexievich for her “…polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time”
The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel was awarded to Mr. Angus Deaton for his “…analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare.”

On the evening of Thursday, December 10, 2015, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain arrived at the Casa de ABC in Madrid to attend the 2015 Premios Mariano de Cavia, Luca de Tena, and Mingote awards ceremony.
The Premio Mariano de Cavia went to Spanish journalist, Mr. Carlos Herrera Crusset, for his article entitled, Muros de Ayer y Hoy.
The Premio Luca de Tena went to Mr. Miguel Henrique Otero, editor of the Venezuelan newspaper, El Nacional.
The Premio Mingote went to Mr. Javier Barcáiztegui for his cartoon published in the November 2014 edition of the journal, Trofeo.
After the ceremony Their Majesties and hundreds of guests attended a gala dinner in honor of the winners of the three awards.
On Thursday, December 10, 2015, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge visited Keogh Barracks in Aldershot, England.
During today’s visit the duke presented 160 medals — the Government Ebola Medal for Service in West Africa to be exact — to personnel from 22 Field Hospital at a parade in recognition of the six-month deployment on Operation Gritlock.

On the afternoon of Thursday, December 10, 2015, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium attended the 11th Edition of the Prix Belgodyssée for Young Journalists held at the Palais Royal in Brussels.
Established in 2004, the Belgodyssée is an initiative of Belgian Public Radio network, VRT VivaCité, and the Fonds Prince Philippe, in collaboration with the Belgian newspapers Metro and L’Avenir as well as with the support of the Chancellerie du Premier Ministre and Brussels Airlines.
The overall goal of the prize is to promote collaboration among future journalists of the three communities within the country. Held under the theme, New Forms of Solidarity, sixteen young journalists traveled throughout Belgium producing variety of reports for radio and print media while sharing their experiences on social media.
On December 3, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg spoke with his local newspaper about the exhibition, Weihnachten im Schloss (Christmas in the Castle), that he along with his longtime partner, Miss Carina Axelsson, developed together at Schloss Berleburg in Berleburg, Germany.
