News Regarding Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. (VIDEO)

palaisprincierOn Tuesday, March 25, 2014, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco met with Japanese youths at the Palais Princier involved with the non-profit association, The Traveling Whale.

According to the official website for the Monaco-Japan Association, The Traveling Whale, was:

“…created in Japan to support talented young people [who were the] victims of the Fukushima disaster who undertook to realize their artistic ambitions through different experiences in Japan but also everywhere else in the world…”

And, finally, on Saturday, March 22, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the charity event, Star Team for Children, in Seefeld, Austria.

On March 26, 2014, Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako Akishino of Japan graduated from the International Christian University in Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan. Princess Mako Akishino is the eldest daughter of Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan and the granddaughter of Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan.

According to the Imperial Household Agency, Princess Mako Akishino now “…plans to concentrate on public duties instead of entering graduate school or starting work…”

On Wednesday, March 26, 2014, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan visited the Ise Grand Shrine in the city of Ise in the Mie prefecture.

According to the newspaper, Japan Times, Their Imperial Majesties visited:

“…the shrine’s Gekū compound, which is dedicated to Toyouke Omikami, the god responsible for food, clothing and shelter. The couple planned to visit the Naikū compound, which enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, worshipped as the ancestral deity of the Imperial family, in the afternoon.”

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh Host a Reception at Buckingham Palace. (VIDEOS)

On March 25, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace in London for the Irish Community.

According to the newspaper, Irish Post, this evening’s reception was held in “…[recognition of] Irish people who have made a positive contribution to business, community and culture in Britain, as well as British businesses and individuals who have enjoyed success in Ireland.”

BelgiumOn the evening of March 25, 2014, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium accompanied by the Prime Minister of Belgium, Mr. Elio Di Rupo, welcomed the President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama, to Brussels, Belgium.

During his two-day visit to Brussels, President Obama will attend the 2014 EU-US Summit held at the European Headquarters as well as visit the Flanders Field American Cemetery and Memorial in Waregem alongside His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium on Wednesday, March 26, 2014.
