On July 17, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended a concert at the Palais Princier featuring famed pianists, Ms. Marielle and Ms. Katia Labèque, accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo with Mr. Semyon Bychkov conducting.
During last Thursday evening’s concert the sibling pianists performed works by the late Mr. Francis Jean Marcel Poulenc.
On Tuesday, July 15, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco to attend the inauguration of the new exhibition entitled, Art Lovers.

On Monday, July 14, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated Victoriadagen, held on the occasion of her 37th birthday, at Solliden Slott in Öland. Hundreds of Swedes turned out this morning to wish their future queen a very happy birthday including, of course, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden, Her Royal Highness Princess Estelle of Sweden, and Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden.
Thereafter, the crown princess accompanied by her husband, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden, Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Mr. Christopher O’Neill, and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and his fiancée, former nude model, Sofia Hellqvist, attended the 2014 Victoriadagen celebrations and concert in Öland.

On Monday, July 14, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with the President of France, Mr. François Hollande, and other French dignitaries attended the 2014 Bastille Day Military Parade celebrations along the Champs-Elysées in Paris, France.

On Sunday, July 13, 2014, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan accompanied by Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan, Her Imperial Highness Princess Aiko of Japan, Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko of Japan along with their family attended the Japanese Folklore Show held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
According to Kyodo News the show was “…hosted by Empress Michiko to celebrate the Emperor Akihito’s 80th birthday…”
On July 5, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands celebrated the 150th anniversary of the tram in Den Haag.

On July 3, 2014, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain arrived at the Biblioteca Nacional de España in Madrid to attend the opening of the exhibition, Diseñar América: El Trazado Español de los Estados Unidos.
According to the official website for Biblioteca Nacional de España this unique exhibition:
“…brings together, under the same looking glass, Spain’s ample contribution to the construction of the United States territory, landscape and cities, presenting this as a living legacy under constant renovation. This is, therefore, a fluid dialogue between past and present illustrated by more than 70 original works from the collections of the National Library of Spain, the Spanish General Military Archive and the Archives of the Spanish Naval Museum.”
