On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge arrived at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) to participate in the International Wildlife Trade Symposium.
According to the official website for the ZSL, today’s gathering focused on:
“…the impacts of international wildlife trafficking; the most recent evidence on species affected, global security issues, transnational crime and links with poverty [was] presented.
The main focus of the symposium, however, was solutions. Evidence underlying solutions and a vision for how they can be implemented were discussed. The symposium provided a forum for sharing experiences from those involved in fighting wildlife crime as well as those active in other, related fields that provided an insight in combating wildlife trafficking.”
On Tuesday, February 11, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived at the Global Radio headquarters in London where they visited “…the Classic FM and Heart studios and [where they] met with staff in the Capital FM newsroom…” according to Clarence House.
On the evening of February 11, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the National Portrait Gallery in London to attend The Portrait Gala 2014: Collecting To Inspire event thingy…

On February 11, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid to tour the new Medicina de la Adolescencia and the Ginecología Adaptada wards.
According to the Spanish royal court the Fundación Reina Sofía recently donated 51,251 Euros to the Medicina de la Adolescencia ward while the Ginecología Adaptada ward received 28,673 Euros.
