In other news, the Palais Princier issued a press release regarding the upcoming construction of the extension on the sea:
“H.S.H. Prince Albert selected Bouygues Travaux Publics, a group with which the Monégasque government will begin negotiating construction of the extension on the sea at Le Portier.
Two groups remained on the short list: Bouygues Travaux Publics and Vinci Concessions, respectively first and second after a preliminary selection by the Administrative Departments concerned.
These major groups were selected for their know-how, technical competency and the financial guarantees necessary to complete this project.
From now on, a period not exceeding 18 months will begin at the end of which the State and the selected Group will have to find a final agreement on the full construction project.”
