On October 29, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan participated in the opening of the 9th World Islamic Economic Forum held at ExCel in London. His Majesty also held meetings with the President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, and the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, to name a few.
In the afternoon, His Majesty arrived at Clarence House to meet with Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

On Tuesday, October 29, 2013, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands arrived at the Maastricht Health Campus to open the new Brains Unlimited Institute and Scannexus Lab.
According to the official website for Brains Unlimited and scanning lab:
“…is the place where researchers, clinicians, and entrepreneurs, under one roof, bring research from concept to commercialization.
Providing an integrated platform for the imaging community, Brains Unlimited helps scientists and companies to find the key to many common disorders, as well as gain more insight into the development of human behavior. Brains Unlimited has three MRI scanners with ultra high magnetic fields, including one of only four 9.4 Tesla scanners worldwide.”

On the evening of October 28, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City to attend “…Ralph Lauren Presents [an] Exclusive Screening Of Hitchcock’s To Catch A Thief Celebrating The Princess Grace Foundation.”
Guests attending last evening’s event included actress Toni Collette, models Coco Rocha and Chanel Iman, Barbara Walters, Gayle King and actor Dylan McDermott to name a few.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2013, the lovely princess will attend the 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. During the event “…24 awards will be presented to emerging artists in theater, dance and film…” according to the Princess Grace Foundation USA.
Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain Visits the Instituto de Genética Médica y Molecular. (VIDEO)
On Monday, October 28, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain visited the Instituto de Genética Médica y Molecular research facility at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid. During her visit Her Majesty toured the facility and met with various researchers and doctors.

On the evening of October 28, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark presided over the 2013 Crown Prince Couple’s Awards ceremony held at the Sydney Opera House.
According to the official website for tonight’s award ceremony:
“The Crown Prince Couple’s Culture Award was given to the artistic teams behind the first seasons of the drama series The Killing and Borgen.
The voluntary national organization Natteravnene (Night Owls) received the Crown Prince Couple’s Social Award.
The young musicians Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, violinist, and MØ aka Karen Marie Ørsted, singer-songwriter, were presented with the Crown Prince Couple’s Rising Star Awards.”
