On February 13, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan met with the “…participants and winners of the Intel Science Competition-Arab World 2012, which took place in December in Dubai and drew 130 students from 11 Arab countries…” according to the Petra News Agency.
Also in attendance during today’s luncheon were Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias as well as various Spanish government officials.
On Tuesday, February 12, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited the RISE Children’s Center in Wiltshire. Whilst there the Duchess met with volunteers and those who are “…supported by the Chippenham Time Network and Wiltshire Money, both of which are working to support families in Wiltshire…” according to the website Princeofwales.gov.uk.
The Duchess of Cornwall also visited “…a course run by Community First’s Youth Action Wiltshire Program at the Langley Burrell Village Hall near Chippenham and visited the Wiltshire Scrapstore and Resource Centre in Lacock…”
On February 13, 2013, The Duchess of Cornwallattended the inauguration of a new exhibition entitled, Floriculture: Flowers, Love and Money, at the Garden Museum in Lambeth. During today’s event the Duchess met with “…supporters of the Garden Museum and children from Vauxhall Primary School’s Gardening Club…”
On February 11, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan inaugurated a new building of the “…Rmeil Charitable Society located in the Al Jeezeh district and dropped by one of the public schools in the area to check on students starting their second semester.”

The sovereign prince danced down Sambódromo alongside the members of the Portela Samba School, beautiful dancers in elaborate costumes, giant floats, and musicians playing their Agogôs bells, Repiniques, Pandeiros, Surdo and Tamborim drums with much delight. In case you were wondering why the sovereign prince was dancing in the parade, well, he was the Portela Samba School’s special guest. Basically, he was asked to join in. 🙂
