Whilst at yesterday’s competition the sovereign prince presented medals “…during the victory ceremony of the women’s 4×100-metre freestyle relay swimming event…”
In other news, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias attended the FINA gala dinner on Saturday, July 27, 2013, alongside legendary Olympian, Mr. Michael Phelps, and hundreds of other VIP guests.
On Monday, July 29, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias accompanied by Infanta Elena of Spain arrived at the Catedral de Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain to attend a memorial Mass for the 79 victims of last Wednesday’s horrific train crash in Santiago de Compostela.
According toCNN the driver of the train, Mr. Francisco Jose Garzon, was “…charged [on] Sunday with 79 counts of homicide by professional recklessness and an undetermined number of counts of causing injury by professional recklessness.”
The Los Angeles Times reports that the train was “…traveling twice the maximum speed allowed along the section of the track where the train derailed.”
On the morning of July 29, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Whitstable in the county of Kent to attend the 2013 Oyster Festival. Upon their arrival the royal couple were greeted with cheers from hundreds of locals as well as representatives from the Whitstable Oyster Festival Association.
Soon, the prince and the duchess arrived at the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat Station to celebrate RNLI’s 50th anniversary. Thereafter, the royal couple arrived in Chatham where they visited the Prince’s Trust Centre and the Historic Dockyard Chatham, and more according to the newspaper, Kent Online.

On Sunday, July 28, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived at the Guards Polo Club at Windsor Great Park in Egham to attend the 2013 Audi International polo match between Audi England Team and Equus & Co USA. The two teams are competing for the prestigious Westchester Cup trophy.
Upon his arrival the prince was warmly welcomed by Audi representatives, various VIPs as well as hundreds of Polo fans who cheered, clapped and screamed “congratulations” on the recent birth of his first grandchild, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
Anyway, after the match — won by England — The Prince of Wales had the honor of presenting the Westchester Cup to Mr. Luke Tomlinson, captain of Audi England Team.
On the evening of July 27, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, Mr. Andrea Casiraghi and his lovely fiancée, Ms. Tatiana Santo Domingo, and famed fashion designer, Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, attended the 4th Edition of The Love Ball (also known as the Love Ball Riviera 2013) held at the Opéra Garnier in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
The Love Ball is a charity fundraising gala dinner and auction hosted by model and philanthropist, Ms. Natalia Vodianova, in support of her personal charity, The Naked Heart Foundation.
Founded in 2004 the aim of The Naked Heart Foundation is to provide:
“…care for disadvantaged children in Russia with the twin mission-statement of building secure public playgrounds across the country and the development and distribution of social services for the families of children with special needs.”
