On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium visited the Maison Intergénérationnelle d’Outremeuse at Raes-de-Heers in Liège.
According to La Monarchie Belge, during their visit the royal couple:
“… met with various associations who work in area of intergenerational activities. Today’s visit takes place within the framework of the European Year for Active Aging and Solidarity between generations.”
On October 24, 2012, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain arrived in India for an official four-day visit. The purpose of the trip is to “… strengthen bilateral ties in a number of areas including sectors like infrastructure, transport, energy and defense.”
Meanwhile in Madrid, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain presided over the inauguration of the Congreso Familias y Emancipación held at the ONCE Auditorium. Afterward, Her Majesty attended the inaugural conference entitled, Familias y Jóvenes Frente a la Crisis Global: ¿Juventud sin fin y fin de la Juventud?.
On October 23, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall attended the film première of the new James Bond film entitled, Skyfall, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

On October 23, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for “… Medallists who participated in the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge were also in attendance.
On October 23, 2012, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal was in Lancashire to attend the opening of the “… refurbished campus and new engineering simulator at Blackpool and The Fylde College, Nautical Campus…”

On October 23, 2012, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited Middleton-in-Teesdale in County Durham. During today’s visit the prince:
“… opened a new canteen and meeting room at Middleton-in-Teesdale Farmers Auction Mart. Whilst there the Prince of Wales met with farmers, supporters and staff. As Patron of the Campaign for Wool, the prince also met with supporters and attended a short campaign meeting at Middleton-in-Teesdale Auction Mart. Afterward, the prince visited Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services.”

On October 23, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands welcomed the President of Italy, Mr. Giorgio Napolitano and his wife, Clio, to Paleis Noordeinde in Den Haag. President Napolitano is on a four-day state visit to the Netherlands at the invitation of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix.
According to RVD:
“President Napolitano will met with the Italian community living in the Netherlands. In the evening, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix will host a gala state banquet at Palace Noordeinde. His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Orange, Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven will also attend.”
