On the evening of November 15, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the Monaco Against Autism (MONAA) Inaugural Gala held inside the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Club de Monte-Carlo. Princess Charlene is MONAA’s Honorary President.
Guests in attendance included The Duke and Duchess of Castro, Infanta Pilar, the Duchess of Badajoz as well as dozens of local dignitaries and VIPs. After the gala dinner there was a charity auction and a concert by Umberto Tozzi.
On the morning of November 15, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias was at the IESE Business School where he gave a speech during the “… presentation of the Panel on the Realities and Future of Entrepreneurship in connection with Global Entrepreneurship Week Spain.”

On November 15, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands gave a speech, in her capacity as Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development of the Secretary General of the United Nations, during the 8th Edition of the Conference: Growing SMEs, Connect, Exchange, Invest held at the World Forum in Den Haag.
Today’s conference, organized by CSR Netherlands and BiD Network, focused on:
“… linking investors with entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries, providing information about various forms of entrepreneurship development and encouraging networks.”
On November 15, 2012, at the Palacio Real de Madrid Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain presented the XXI Premio Reina Sofía de Poesía Iberoamericana (Reina Sofia Award for Latin American Poetry) to poet, activist and former Catholic priest, Mr. Ernesto Cardenal.
Born in Nicaragua, Mr. Cardenal’s works reflect:
“…his personal radicalism throughout which he denounced suffering and the exploitation of the so called banana republics, a central theme of his national song. In May 2005 Mr. Cardenal was nominated to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature … “
On November 15, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje attended the annual conference, ECP, held at the Circustheater in Scheveningen. According to RVD, the prince “… visited the conference in his capacity as a member of the Advisory Board of ECP (Platform for the Information Society).”
On November 15, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the small town of Feidling, New Zealand as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
