On June 15, 2012, Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge hosted “…150 children and young people from The Art Room at a performance of ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ at Kensington Gardens…”
On June 14, 2012, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales gave a speech during “… the launch of the British Fashion Council’s exhibition entitled, London Collections: Men.” Guests at the event included British fashion designer, Ms. Vivienne Westwood and American designer, Mr. Tommy Hilfiger.
According to the Press Association, the exhibition includes, “… work[s] by designers such as Paul Smith, Margaret Howell and Richard James, heritage brands such as Aquascutum and Savile Row tailors.”
Meanwhile, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has awarded the Prince of Wales “… the highest rank in all three military services. He has become a Field Marshal, Admiral of the Fleet and Marshal of the Royal Air Force in the honorary promotion…”Click here for more information.
And, finally, the Museum of British Surfing has released new images of the young Prince of Wales surfing at Constantine Bay. In the photos, you can see the prince wearing a wetsuit, minus booties, and rides a single fin short board. Hilarious!
On June 16, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh as well as other members of the British royal family attended the Trooping of the Colour 2012.

On June 15, 2012, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco inaugurated the new market, La Condamine, at Place d’Ames along with hundreds of happy Monégasques.
Whilst there the princely couple, along with the Minister of State, Mr. Michel Roger and the Mayor of Monaco, Mr. Georges Marsan, toured the new hall at La Condamine and the market square where they met with sellers and visitors, stared at items on display, and much more.
On Saturday, June 16, 2012, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco spent the morning with 200 youths who are attending the AS Monaco Rugby Training School. The sweet princess recently became the official the patron of the Club Monégasque de Rugby. During her time at the training school Princess Charlene mingled and played with the young participants.
On June 14, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended the closing ceremony of the 52nd Annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. During the event the sovereign prince presented the Honorary Golden Nymph Prize toMs. Dawn Sweeney, President of Disney Media Networks Co-Chair and Disney/ABC Television Group.
And, finally, on June 15, 2012, the sovereign prince met with the President of the Monégasque Fencing Federation, Mr. Georges Prat, Fencing Master, Mr.Robert Prat and the President of the FIE, Mr. Eduardo Dos Santos recently to talk about, oh I don’t know… fencing.

On June 14, 2012, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan along with Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan attended the funeral of the late Prince Tomohito of Mikasa. Other members of the Imperial Family of Japan were also in attendance including Prince Mikasa and Princess Yuriko, Princess Yoko, and Princess Akiko. The traditional Shinto funeral took place at the Imperial Graveyard of Toshimagaoka in Tokyo.
Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands arrived in Ankara, Turkey on June 13, 2012, to begin her three-day visit to the country. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Turkey as well as to celebrate “… 400 years of diplomatic relations…”
Her Majesty is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs as well as other government officials. According to RVD, the queen arrived at the Presidential Palace in the late afternoon whereupon she was greeted by the Turkish President, Mr. Abdullah Gül and his wife, Hayrünnisa Gül. After holding a meeting, Her Majesty along with President Gül attended a gala dinner held in Queen Beatrix’s honor.
Tomorrow, Her Majesty will travel to Istanbul.
