On November 29, 2011, T.S.H.s Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco visited Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Upon their arrival the princely couple were greeted by Mayor Patrick Cesari and local dignitaries. During their visit the prince and princess planted an Olive tree and unveiled a commemorative plaque with the inscription stating, “In recognition of the common history and relations of friendship between Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in the Principality of Monaco.”
On November 29, 2011, H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, T.R.H.s Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended a gala dine, held at Noordeinde Palace in Den Haag, in honor of the President of Mali, Amadou Toumani Toure’s, official visit to the Netherlands.
On November 29, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the opening of the new Zonnehuis in Zuidhorn. Upon her arrival the princess was greeted by Mayor Bert Swart and Commissioner Max van den Berg. After the opening Princess Maxima mingled with the residents of this new housing and care facility for the elderly.
H.M. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands officially welcomed the president of Mali, Mr. Amadou Toumani Toure and his wife, at Noordeninde Palace in Den Haag on November 29, 2011.
President Toure and his delegation are in the Netherlands for a three-day official visit. During their stay President Toure and his delegation will meet with T.R.H.s Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, attend a gala dinner, attend meetings with various Dutch politicians and much more.
On November 28, 2011, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands held an audience with the President of Slovenia, Danilo Türk, at Huis ten Bosch Palace in Den Haag. President Türk is in the Netherlands on a working visit. During his time in the country he will visit the International Court in Den Haag as well as attend various meetings with Dutch companies.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II held a meeting with Mr. Luiz Figueiredo, under-Secretary for the environment, energy, Science and technology of Brazil, to the Palais Princier on November 28, 2011. During their meeting they discussed bilateral issues and the upcoming Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
