Princess Clotilde of Venice and Piedmont Attends a Fashion Show in Paris

On March 3, 2011, Princess Clotilde of Venice and Piedmont attended a fashion show in Paris, France along with other fashion writers, bloggers, and buyers.  The venue:  The Grand Hotel.  The Show:  Balmain.

Like Princess Tatiana of Greece, the former actress turned Princess, Clotilde’s position as a princess is pretty much useless (the Venice and Piedmont house are non-reigning in Italy.)  So, yeah… basically she doesn’t really do anything unless of course one considers attending fashion shows and cocktail parties a job.  However, I will say that she seems to be a very kind person.  Why?  Well, she along with her husband, Prince Emanuele Filiberto decided to adopt two Kenyan orphans… financially that is.  You see, the couple will take care of these two orphans by taking care of them monetarily until they are of age.  The children will remain in Kenya while Clotilde and Emanuele will live a billion miles away and perhaps visit every so often.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the Grand Opening of the Art of Olympians Museum

Yesterday, March 5, 2011, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the grand opening of the Art of Olympians museum in Fort Myers, Florida.  This black tie event brought out some of the world’s most famous athletes as well as local politicians.  Noticeably absent from Prince Albert’s side, his fiancée, Charlene Wittstock.  It is unknown why she did not accompany her fiancé to Florida; however, I am going to assume that she is back home in Monaco prepping for their upcoming wedding in July.

Charlene Wittstock in Gstaad, Switzerland Sans HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco

On March 1, 2011, the future Princess of Monaco, Charlene Wittstock, enjoyed the afternoon on the slopes in Gstaad, Switzerland with her friends.  Meanwhile, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco was no where to be found.  Why?  He was on his way back to sunny Monaco to prepare for his upcoming trip to Fort Myers, Florida.  So what’s the upcoming trip all about for the Prince?  Well, it’s a semi-important gig that no one cares about called The Art of the Olympians (I mentioned it about a month ago which you can read here.)  But, that doesn’t matter.

🙂

Moving on, Charlene and her friends continued to enjoy themselves in the snow as well as partaking in a cozy carriage ride (poor horse.)  It is unknown, as usual, how long the happy future Princess of Monaco will stay in Gstaad, but one thing is for sure… she’ll be back in Monaco or South Africa sooner than you think.

Now, I have to say this because it is so sad.  It seems that there are a small group of people who say that Charlene is hamming it up/attention whoring it for the cameras whilst in Gstaad, but I disagree.  I see a normal woman having fun like any other sane person on planet Earth.  I mean, who wouldn’t?  She’s on vacation with friends, FFS, whilst being photographed by the paparazzi.

HSH Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock in Gstaad, Switzerland

With only months to go before their princely wedding in Monaco, HSH Prince Albert II and his lovely fiancée, Charlene Wittstock, enjoyed a quick getaway in beautiful Gstaad, Switzerland.

The couple, along with their friends, enjoyed a day on the slopes this past February 26, 2011.  It is unknown how long they will stay in Gstaad, but one thing is for sure… they looked as if they were having fun and Charlene remains better than you while doing so.

Wedding Date Set for HIRH Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and HSH Princess Sophie von Isenburg

It was announced this afternoon, February 28, 2011, that HIRH Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia will marry HSH Princess Sophie von Isenburg on  August 27, 2011.  The wedding ceremony will be held at the Friedenskirche in Potsdam, Germany.

At this time it is unknown who will attend the wedding ceremony; however, one could deduce that many of the non-reigning royal and princely houses in Germany will attend along with several reigning royal houses.

Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming wedding.
