H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands at the Royal Dutch Mint

On November 10, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was at the Royal Dutch Mint in Utrecht where she presented the first Money Week coin.  The design of the new coin was “…the result of a design competition among primary schools in Netherlands.”

H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Attends A Conference in Den Haag

On November 8, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands was in Den Haag where she participated in the opening of the European Office of The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) held at the Pulchri Studio in Den Haag.

So what is the TSC and its purpose?  Well…

TSC is on organization of independent producers and suppliers of consumer products. The objective is to ensure the sustainability of the production chain based on scientific methods and research. source

H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands in Den Haag

After a successful ten-day official visit to the Caribbean, H.R.H. Princess Maxima is back at work in the Netherlands.  On November 7, 2011, the princess was in Den Haag where she participated in the opening of the 2011 National Week of Money. The purpose of this important event is to teach the youth in the Netherlands how to properly manage their money.

T.R.H.s Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Attend a Conference

On October 26, 2011, T.R.H.s Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the Development in Business conference in Amsterdam this afternoon.  The purpose of the conference is “… to expand the cooperation development between the government and industry.”

H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Opens a New Building in Haarlem. Plus, Other News.

On October 25, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands opened a new building, Oecumenisch Diaconaal Centrum Stem, in Haarlem.  Apparently, the old building had become too small for the many activities and services provided to those in need so they built a new one.  To view photos please click here and here.

Later on in the afternoon, Princess Maxima was in Utrecht to attend the opening of the Slinger-Event 4×4. “The Slinger-Event, a local network of companies and local government, is a meeting about socially responsible business.” source  To view photos please click here.

H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Opens Dutch Design Week (VIDEOS)

On October 24, 2011, H.R.H. Princess Maxima of the Netherlands opened Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven held at the City Hall. The princess also visited an exhibition at the Designhuis where she spoke to the local youth artists about their work… or something like that.
