On November 13, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias presided over the conference entitled, Importancia de la Investigación en Cáncer, held at the headquarters of the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) in Madrid.

On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias visited the Centros Integrados de Formación Profesional (Integrated Vocational Training Centers) Juan de Colonia, Simón de Colonia, and the secondary school Camino de Santiago in Burgos, Spain.

During her visit the princess toured the three training facilities as well as participated in a meeting with:

“…center officials to discuss educational projects of different occupational groups and projects being carried out in collaboration with companies and job placement for the centers students.”
