On March 14, 2013, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden received credentials from ambassadors representing Luxembourg, Pakistan, Italy, and St. Kitts and Nevis at the royal palace in Stockholm.

On March 14, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands was at the De Doelin in Rotterdam to open the 2013 Day of Literature.

“Day of Literature is a one-day literature festival for young people.
“The Day of the literature is organized every two years by Passionate Bulk Book. This is a literary and educational organization dedicated to promoting reading and the promotion of Dutch literature among young people aged 13-30 years.
The organization provides the students on the Day of Literature acquaintance with thirty authors, young literary talent and contemporary singer-songwriters who present through reading sessions, interviews and talk shows. In addition, among other filmed literature shown, there are cabaret performances and several exhibitions.”
On March 14, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Service at the Guards’ Chapel to “…commemorate the 175th Anniversary of the Soldiers and Airmen’s Scripture Readers Association in London.”
On March 14, 2013, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan participated in the opening of a new terminal at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
“The new 103,000 square meter terminal has been built at an estimated cost of USD 750 million. It is expected to increase the airport’s capacity to nearly 12 million passengers per year after the completion of the final phase… The new terminal features ample food and beverage venues, shopping outlet’s sufficient flight information screens, comfortable seating in waiting areas and high levels of service at the customer assistance counter.”
And, finally, His Majesty sent a telegram of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Francis I. According to the Jordan News Agency, His Majesty “…wished the new Pope success to maximize tolerance and coexistence values among followers of different religions, promote human rights, and defend peace, freedom and justice.”
On March 13, 2013, Their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain sent a telegram of congratulations to His Holiness Pope Francis I for “…being the 266th successor of St. Peter.”

On March 13, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Doha, Qatar for an official visit. The purpose of the visit is to “…strengthen the United Kingdom’s bilateral relations with Qatar…”
Upon their arrival at the Doha International Airport the royal couple were warmly greeted by the Minister of State, His Highness Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Saud Al Thani, as well as other important officials.
Afterwards, the royal couple visited the Museum of Islamic Art. The prince and duchess were given a “… private viewing and a meeting with the Emir’s eldest daughter, Sheikha Mayassa, before a reception at the museum for contributors to the Qatar-UK Year of Culture 2013.”
