Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway Attend the Opening of a New Exhibition. (VIDEOS)
On the afternoon of June 3, 2013, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway arrived at the Kulturbunker Dora in Trondheim to attend the opening of the new exhibition entitled, Fra Berliner til Buick: Kongelige Kjøretøyer 1905-45.
The exhibition showcases various classic cars used by the Norwegian royal family.

TMs King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands Visit Berlin, Germany. (VIDEOS)
On June 3, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in Berlin, Germany to begin their two-day state visit.
Today, Their Majesties met with the Chancellor of Germany, Ms. Angela Merkel, and attended a reception, held in their honor, hosted by the President of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck.
Soon, Their Majesties arrived in Wiesbaden where they were warmly welcomed by the Minister President of the State of Hesse, Mr. Volker Bouffier and his wife, Ursula. Afterward, the reigning couple toured the town of Wiesbaden where they were welcomed by hundreds of happy locals. Then Their Majesties visited the town hall where they signed the guest book and much more.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Attends a Gala Reception at St. James’s Palace.
On June 3, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II arrived at St. James’s Palace in London to attend a gala reception for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Unfortunately, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh was unable to attend.
In a press release via Buckingham Palace it was announced that the 91-year-old duke was “unwell.” However, the duke will attend tomorrow’s service at Westminster Abbey commemorating the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.
His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden Visits the Karolinska Institutet.
On Monday, June 3, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden arrived at the Karolinska Institutet in Solna to meet with researchers from the Hjärt-Lungfondens (Heart-Lung Foundation) who have recently received major research grants from the foundation. Another reason for the prince’s visit was to “…learn more about patient-orientated research…”
During today’s visit Prince Daniel also visited the laboratory at Karolinska Institutet where he examined a “…sliced sections of a mouse heart. The purpose of the investigation was to view the heart’s structure and the amount of fat cells it had taken into storage. Prince Daniel also viewed tissue samples of the brain through a confocal microscope…”

His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias Participates in a Conference.
On the morning of June 3, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias arrived at the Palacio de Congresos in Girona to participate in the inauguration of the 1st Congreso Bienal sobre Seguridad Jurídica y Democracia en Iberoamérica.
This three-day conference brings together academics as well as individuals involved in the legal professions in Spain and Latin America. The purpose of the conference is to ensure that the judicial systems in Spain and Latin America promotes economic growth while ensuring social justice.

Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover in Venice, Italy. (VIDEO)
Recently, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Monaco was in Venice, Italy, in support of “…artist Dora Garcia for her project, The Deviant Majority.” Ms. Garcia was the Fondation Prince Pierre’s recipient of the 45e Prix International d’Art Contemporain.
Anyway, according to the Gouvernement Princier the Fondation Prince Pierre is:
“…showing Dora Garcia’s artistic project, ‘The Joycean Society,’ in Venice. ‘The Joycean Society” is a film about a book group reading Finnegans Wake by James Joyce and a society comprised of students, admirers and lovers of this work, which is often considered “the most difficult book in the world.
The work [Ms. Garcia’s] is being presented as part of the Venice Biennale and can be seen until 24 November 2013 at the Punch Space, on the island of Giudecca.”
