On July 26, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex arrived at Springwood Park just outside of Kelso, Scotland to attend the 2013 Border Union Show.
This year the Border Union Agricultural Society (BUAS), which organizes the show, is celebrating their 200th anniversary. The Countess of Wessex is patron of the BUAS.
On July 25, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal arrived in Chidham, Chinchester to visit the Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre.
According to the newspaper, Chidham Observer, the princess was “…given a tour of the £1.25m TS Resolute and was taken out on a safety boat onto the water, where she watched members of the CYE sailing and racing.”
On July 25, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience with the Japanese Foreign Minister of Affairs, Mr. Fumio Kishida, at Al Hummar Palace in Amman.
Discussions focused on the Syrian crisis, bilateral ties and the “…need to increase cooperation between Japan and Jordan specifically in the fields of energy and industry…” according to Petra News.
His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales arrived at the Getty Images Gallery in London this evening to attendthe opening of the exhibition, Sentebale: Stories of Hope, by well-known royal photographer, Mr. Chris Jackson.
During the opening the prince was asked about his new nephew, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, to which he replied, “It’s fantastic to have another addition to the family…”

Last week His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by several officials from the Chambre de Développement Economique de Monaco met with a “…delegation of German entrepreneurs from the Bundesverband Mittelständische Wirtschaft…” at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco. The purpose of the meeting was to “…develop stronger business ties between the two countries…”
In other news, the sovereign prince sent his message of condolence this afternoon to Their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain upon hearing the news of train derailment that killed 40 people and injured hundreds near Santiago de Compostela, Spain late yesterday afternoon.
And, finally, last evening Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended Diner aux Chandelles organized by the Monaco de Mairie.
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Kemble, Gloucestershire this morning — a hop, skip, and a jump from his home known as Highgrove — to open the new garden at the Kemble Railway Station.
According to the newspaper, Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard, the garden space was “…redesigned by staff and students from the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester and Dobbies garden centre.”
A young guest attending this morning’s opening couldn’t help but to ask about his new grandson, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. The prince smiled and replied, “…It was a great moment…it’s fun to be a grandfather!”
The Prince of Wales also congratulated the students and staff from Royal Agricultural University for a job well done, and despite his busy schedule this week the prince noted that he “…wouldn’t have missed it [the opening] for anything.”
On July 23, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia attended the “…Lifeline Hellas humanitarian reception at the Byzantine Museum in Athens, Greece…”
