Mr. Iñaki Urdangarin arrived at court on the island of Mallorca on February 23, 2013, accompanied by his lawyer, to be “…questioned by Judge José Castro regarding allegations he and his former business partner, Mr. Diego Torres, funneled millions of euros to companies they controlled.”
Upon his arrival the disgraced former athlete and husband of Her Royal Highness Infanta Cristina of Spain was warmly greeted by hundreds of angry protestors as well as journalists. 🙂

“Upon completion of the tests, examinations and conducted the studies His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain’s medical team has determined that the most appropriate treatment for His Majesty’s herniated disc, located in the lumbosacral spine and spinal stenosis, is surgery.The operation aims neurological decompression and spinal stabilization.
The operation will be performed by Dr. Manuel de la Torre Gutiérrez and his team on March 3, 2013 at La Milagrosa Clinic in Madrid.”
Mr. Iñaki Urdangarin’s former Instituto Nóos business partner, Mr. Diego Torres, recently informed Judge José Castro that “…the Spanish Royal Household and Princess Cristina, the second daughter His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain, were well aware of the operations of the (shady operations) by Instituto Nóos…”
The two are accusedof embezzlement, fraud, misuse of public funds, and forgery from the non-profit organization they once presided over, Instituto Nóos.

On February 20, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias participated in the opening of the Foro del Empleo 2013 Innovación y Emprendizaje, Motores del Empleo” (XX Edición) held at the Campus Tecnológico TECNUN in San Sebastián.
According to the Spanish royal court this event is:
“…a meeting point for Engineering students, who are in their final years, and 50 companies from various sectors and backgrounds who come together to participate in this annual forum. The students have a chance to meet with representatives from the various companies attending in order to begin a process of collaboration and eventual employment.”
On February 19, 2013, Her Royal Highness Infanta Elena of Spain attended the opening ceremony of the 2013 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships held at the Palacio de Congresos in La Molina.
According to the Spanish royal court:
“…the IPC Alpine Skiing international competition is for people with disabilities. More than 160 skiers from over 40 countries will participate in the six events including Downhill, Super Giant, Giant, Slalom, Super Combined and the Team Event.”
On February 19, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias attended the Premios Nacionales de Cultura (National Culture Awards) 2011 for 2012 held at the Palacio Real de El Pardo in Madrid. During today’s ceremony the prince gave a speech and presented 53 awards to worthy recipients.
