On March 31, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, held a meeting in Amman with the Palestinian President, Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, and his delegation.
Discussions focused on the “…developments in the Middle East, efforts to restore momentum in the Palestinian-Israeli peace efforts despite rapid developments in the region…” and much more according to the Petra News Agency.
On March 28, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan visited the King Abdullah Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) according to the Petra News Agency. During his visit, His Majesty “…attended the side of the 5th annual Warrior Competition… 35 teams from 18 Arab and foreign countries participate in this grueling competition.”

According to the Petra News Agency, His Majesty met with the “…Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mashal Al Zaben, and was briefed on programs implemented by the army and issued directives regarding a number of issues of concern to the armed forces.”
On March 26, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, arrived in Doha, Qatar to participate in the 24th Arab Summit at the Sheraton Hotel.
During today’s inaugural session His Highness The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar gave an opening speech welcoming the “…the kings and leaders of the Arab countries and all the participants and the Arab League Secretary General wishing them all good stay in Doha.”
On March 24, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Manama, Bahrain for a two-day visit.
After an official welcoming ceremony His Majesty met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. Discussions focused on “…bilateral ties, the Syrian crisis, developments in the region and Jordanian-Bahraini relations stressing the need for further developing them to achieve common interests.”
On Tuesday, His Majesty King Abdullah II will travel to Doha, Qatar to attend the 24th Arab Summit.
On the evening of March 23, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, hosted a gala banquet at the palace in Amman for President Obama and his delegation.
This morning the President visited the ancient and fabulous city of Petra.
