His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan Meets With President Barack Obama. (VIDEOS)

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by his delegation, arrived at the White House in Washington D.C., this afternoon to participate a bilateral meeting with President Barack Obama.

Prior to the closed meeting, in which discussions will be focused on the Syrian crisis and other important issues, a photo-op  and Q&A with the press took place inside Oval Office.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in Washington D.C.

HMKAofJordanAs you may or may not know by now His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan is currently in Washington D.C., to hold meetings with various members of the United States Senate, the House of Representatives, private organizations and of course President Barack Obama.

Yesterday, His Majesty met with the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Mr. John Boehner, and this morning His Majesty met with super awesome Vice President Joe Biden.

According to Politico, the Vice President and His Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah, held their lovely breakfast meeting at the Naval Observatory.  Discussions focused on bilateral relations, the Syrian crisis, etc, etc, etc…

Afterward, His Majesty met with Senate Majority Leader, Mr. Harry Reid, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Ms. Barbara Mikulski, and a bunch of other extremely important and powerful people in Washington D.C.

Tomorrow, His Majesty King Abdullah II will met with President Barack Obama at the White House.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan Continues His Visit to Washington D.C.

090424_abdullah_ap_297On April 24, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan continued his visit to Washington D.C.  In the morning, His Majesty accompanied by the Jordanian Royal Court Chief, Mr. Fayez Tarawneh, the Jordanian Foreign Minister, Mr. Nasser Judeh, and the Jordanian Ambassador to the United States of America, Ms. Alia Buran, met with the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Mr. John Boehner.

Discussions focused on bilateral relations between the United States of America and Jordan, the latest developments in Syria, and ways to revive the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis according to the Petra News Agency.

Afterward, His Majesty and his delegation met with the Chairwoman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on State-Foreign Operations, Ms. Kay Granger.  Again, discussions focused on bilateral as well as economic relations between the United States and Jordan and “…[the] security situation in the Middle East and [the United States’] strategic alliance with Jordan…”  

News Regarding Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan.

HerMajestyQueenRaniaHer Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan visited the 1776  Campus in Washington D.C., on April 23, 2013.  During her visit Her Majesty was given a tour and discussed, “…the startup economy, education reinvention, and other global challenges.”  1776 Campus is:

Located just blocks from the White House, 1776 convenes and accelerates startups from around the world by connecting them to the political, intellectual, social and financial capital that make Washington, DC unique…”

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan Participates in a Meeting in Washington D.C.

HMKAofJordanHis Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan attended a luncheon meeting this afternoon at the Jordan Embassy in Washington D.C., with members of the U.S.-Jordan Business Alliance.  According to the Petra News Agency, during today’s important meeting His Majesty:

 “…expressed Jordan’s commitment to working closely with the United States to promote and encourage economic and trade relations, and to enable the U.S. business community to invest in Jordan and the region, and play a role in promoting economic growth.”

On Friday, April 26, 2013, His Majesty will met with President Barack Obama.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience this morning with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, and the UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the Al-Hummar Palace in Amman.

Discussions focused on the never ending Syrian crisis and “…efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East according to the two-state solution.”

News Regarding Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.

JordanHis Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan donated $706,000 to help fund the construction of a new building for the Sharia faculty at the University of Jordan in Amman.  The new building will “…enable students and researchers to carry out scientific and research projects.”

Meanwhile, Her Majesty Queen Rania visited the Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans where she met with the director of the Al Aman Fund, Ms. Maha Al Saqqa, and participants who have “…benefited from its vocational training schemes.”  

According to the Petra News Agency, in her meeting with:

“…private sector partners, Ms. Maha Al Saqqa, talked about their partnerships with some vocational training colleges and institutes as well as companies from the private sector. She elaborated on how this network enabled them to reach, serve, and train more orphans.

Ms. Saqqa also gave a brief about a recently launched campaign in partnership with Al Quds College on the occasion of Arab Orphans Week to encourage orphans to receive vocational training and seek job opportunities in this field.”
