On Friday, June 20, 2014, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover and her two sons, Mr. Andrea Casiraghi and Mr. Pierre Casiraghi, attended the grand opening of the new Yacht Club de Monaco building located on the Quai Louis II.
The new building “…offer[s] owners and yachting professionals a friendly meeting place, that will contribute to the vitality of life in Port Hercule and the Principality’s international prestige. The building will also be home to the Société Nautique de Monaco, and has been designed by one of the world’s most respected architects, Lord Foster…”

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Attends the Our Ocean Conference in Washington, D.C. (VIDEOS)
On Monday, June 16, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the opening of the Our Ocean conference, hosted by the United States Department of State, in Washington, D.C.
According to the official website for the conference the two-day event:
“…will bring together individuals, experts, practitioners, advocates, lawmakers, and the international ocean and foreign policy communities to gather lessons learned, share the best science, offer unique perspectives, and demonstrate effective actions.”
His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Co-Hosts a Fundraising Cocktail Reception.
On Thursday, June 12, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou co-hosted a fundraising cocktail reception in Monte-Carlo.
Per a press release via the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco last evening’s reception was:
“…in aid of World Wildlife Foundation’s joint work with the Prince Albert II of Monaco’s and Sir Stelios’ philanthropic foundations focusing on the preservation of the monk seal in the Mediterranean.
Total amount raised: 180,000 euros
Over 400 guests heard how the three organizations plan to take concerted action to save this endangered species. Speeches from HSH the Prince, Sir Stelios and WWF Director General, Mr Marco Lambertini, emphasized how voluntary donations could help fund this important campaign.”

On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 54th Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo closing ceremony and the Golden Nymph Awards in Monaco.
After the awards ceremony, the sovereign prince attended a gala dinner at the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
